Bryan is in this one. This has less members. We need others like @katharsisdrill and @northwestnomad to get involved too. It will be great to have one place where people can find lots of comics. Even if people do not publish every comic there it can be a place to showcase work and discuss the industry.
Are you using Steempeak? This lets you cross-post to communities where the original author gets 90% of the rewards, but the post appears in the feed of the cross-poster and gets separate comments to the original. You can cross-post your own posts, but I may use it to bring extra content to communities I am in.
How do you see the Ithaqa community being used? I guess you could get fan art and reviews in there.
I'm not using steampeak, but I'm open to it! Not sure what it is exactly. Do I just log into it?
I see it as acting like a sub-reddit would. I post official things to it, and in a beautiful scenario we would get some fan art and interaction from subscribers like we used to get back when steem was 2+ USD and everyone was posting like crazy.
Do you think that's a good use of the community tool, or am I using it less than effectively?
If 90% of the rewards go to a community owner, wouldn't that mean that people aren't incentivized to interact with content, because curation rewards would be so low?
Not an area I know a lot about - but I believe there are quite a few comic fans on Steem?
I just set up an Ithaqa Community and would be happy to pay the 3 steem to make a comic book community, but I don't want to step on any toes.
Nor do I fully understand the community system yet.
What's the hive address for the Ithaqa Community?
I will add into the Community listings in the daily Steem News.
Awesome! I think this is what you're talking about?

Perfect will add to today's Steem News.
There are a couple of comic communities already. It would best to build on one of those if the artists can settle on one.
Which one is Bryan a part of? I can jump on that one!

Done! Subscribed to COMICS BOOKS fan/pro
May be hard to believe, but I totally spaced the whole communities thing and didn't even realize it was already live until just today. 🙄
I see great potential with communities. We've been waiting for them for a couple of years. Let's make the most of them.
Is it possible to cross post in multiple communities? I'd like to put Ithaqa in the comics and in the official Ithaqa one too
