Are you using Steempeak? This lets you cross-post to communities where the original author gets 90% of the rewards, but the post appears in the feed of the cross-poster and gets separate comments to the original. You can cross-post your own posts, but I may use it to bring extra content to communities I am in.

How do you see the Ithaqa community being used? I guess you could get fan art and reviews in there.

I'm not using steampeak, but I'm open to it! Not sure what it is exactly. Do I just log into it?

I see it as acting like a sub-reddit would. I post official things to it, and in a beautiful scenario we would get some fan art and interaction from subscribers like we used to get back when steem was 2+ USD and everyone was posting like crazy.

Do you think that's a good use of the community tool, or am I using it less than effectively?

If 90% of the rewards go to a community owner, wouldn't that mean that people aren't incentivized to interact with content, because curation rewards would be so low?

I think cross posts are good to get more content in the community and people would still get the same share of curation rewards. We need to figure out how to make the most of the new features.

You can log into Steempeak with Keychain. It has lots of neat features to explore.
