It is yet another awesome week of work with heads high while trying to scale a balance between offline commitments and business as usual on Steemit. This has not been without some hitches with poor internet connection signals but were all overcome with ease.

That said, below I will be talking about the different activities carried out across the platform within the above-stated period of time.

Power Up to Become Orca

It was an amazing week for me as i powered up 141 Steem to join the orca group on Steemit. Permit me use this opportunity to thank the Steemit team for your support that has helped me reach this point. I will forever remain grateful.

Steemit Promotion.

For this weeks promotion activities, I continued preaching about Steemit to 10 people on different days. I assured them to assist create an account and also guide them through on the platform if they are interested in blogging. None of them has shown interest so far in creating an account yet but they assured me to do more research and get back to me if necessary. This goes with the adage that “…you cannot take a horse to the stream and force it to drink water”.

As usual, facebook is one of the platforms I used to promote Steemit because I have over 2.8k followers but unfortunately, there are lots of scammers on Facebook. It makes it difficult to gain the trust of my Facebook followers to sign up because they believe anything that has to do with cryptocurrency is fake. Most of them I approached were once victims of cryptocurrency scams on Facebook.

My WhatsApp status is also another way I used to promote Steemit to my contacts. During this week’s promotion I was not able to create any new account but hopefully one day someone will find interest in creating an account.

Activities in Steem Cameroon Community.

It is a routine that every week we meet online and discuss how to better manage the community. We discussed about the mode of selecting posts for booming support. We had tried several times to bring together inactive steemians but most of them we reach out to ignore our messages. We believe “…we are stronger together”. So far, some of the old inactive members are back though their activities on the platform is timid.

As a plagiarism leader and actively fighting all forms of abuse on the community, I had to ensure that content creators create quality content free from any form of abuse on steemit. No abuses of content was recorded. We hope steemians continues to be creative in ideas and create plagiarized free content and proper use of non-copyrighted images.

I also caution steemians especially newcomers about clicking on phishing links and operating 3rd party DApps. This is because they risk losing their Steemit accounts to hackers. I also informed them about “account recovery” within 30 days if not they stand to lose the account to hackers.

Steemit Learning Challenges

It was another awesome week of learning new concepts and ideas and participating in some of the courses.

I also used the learning challenge as an opportunity to interact with other users via meaningful conversation on my posts.

Content Creation.

It was another week for me to share content on diverse topics on the platform. Below are the educational content I shared.

Support Other Content Creators with @chant Account.

I used my effective Steem power of over 57k to support steemians with quality content on the platform.

I did power up some liquid Steem to increase my steem power and supported other content creators for their hard work on the platform.

Preference was given to authors writing creative and quality articles across the platform. Over the week, I reached out to 90 accounts and upvoted 128 posts with a CSI score of 16.6.

At this juncture, I have come to the end of my presentation of my weekly activities report.

Regards!
