Weekly Steem Representative Report
Dear Steemit Team,
I am pleased to report my activities from last week as a Steemit Representative. It’s a privilege to see 2025 in good health, and I am grateful! Looking back, 2024 was a wonderful year for me; despite some ups and downs, I had a valuable experience and learned many new things because I believe that learning is a continuous process. As I mentioned in my report two weeks ago, I took some time off for my spiritual activities, which affected my activity on the platform. However, this period has now passed, and it was a refreshing experience.
I made efforts to stay active and encouraged others to remain consistent as well. The recent events among Nigerians are disheartening and have somehow highlighted a lack of caution against dubious practices (which is not the case) because I used to caution everyone against such practices. In our last meet-up, we discussed the prohibition of multiple accounts on the platform as well as the unacceptable use of AI-generated content and plagiarism. I provided tips on how to create original and creative content and warned about the negative consequences of operating multiple accounts; unfortunately, some individuals appear to have ignored this guidance.
Now, those at fault have tarnished our reputation and harmed innocent users. It is unfair that we all suffer the consequences of their actions. While I agree that the guilty should be punished, the innocent should not have to bear the burden alongside them. We have learned our lesson and will be more diligent moving forward, yes we will apply the principle of check and balance. If such issues arise again, we will take necessary action against the offenders. I have also made a post to officially warn others to avoid such actions, emphasizing that anyone caught will face severe consequences, so I urge you to reconsider our situation, and tender justice with mercy.
GREETER:
I welcomed newcomers to our community and provided them with guidelines that included the do's and don'ts of Steemit. I also encouraged them to find their niches, as this promotes uniqueness, creativity, and originality on the platform. I have welcomed newcomers from Peru, Argentina, and the Netherlands, and I hope they thrive here. I've noticed that many old users are returning to reintroduce themselves, some with their old accounts while others claimed to have lost their keys and created new accounts but mentioned their old usernames. The community is not as chaotic as before, and some have reported their initial progress.
MODERATOR:
I shared the contest rewards for the previous week's winners and initiated a new contest on the topic of art for change. Several users have already joined and showcased their talents through storytelling, crafts, and drawing. I am still expecting more entries, as the contest is ongoing.
PERSONAL ACCOUNT ACTIVITIES:
I tried to stay active, though it wasn't easy as I was taking care of my sick children. Thankfully, they are getting better now. I signed up some newbies and delegated a small amount of SP to help them kick-start their journey on the platform. Their usernames are @barnasco, @ransylove, and @pinkysmart. I continue to promote the platform and our native coins, and while some of my contacts haven’t joined Steemit, they have added Steem coins to their portfolios.
I powered up my account to strengthen my club status, even though it’s no longer a requirement. I enjoy it and hope others will follow suit, as it helps us grow faster. Additionally, I've assisted many users offline, and I hope to continue being a valuable resource for them.
Thank you.

Great accomplishment in a week I must say. Thank you for looking out for us Nigerians and pleading our case. The recent happenings have been a lot on the innocent ones but thank you for making that post to adhere to the guidelines provided. We hope to improve and be better for good. Weldone ma’am.
