Dear Steemit Team,

I'm here to report my last week's activities as a representative of Steem. As usual, it was a great week. I welcomed and guided newcomers, promoted Steem, signed up newbies, encouraged some inactive users to become active again, organized contests, and encouraged many through comments, chats, and phone calls. It was a successful week. Let me write in a bit more detail.

Greeter:

I worked in the Newcomers' community last week, welcoming newcomers and giving them guidance on what is required of them, especially in their first month on the platform, and how to be successful. Most of them just joined and introduced themselves, so I greeted them and asked them to come back in a month to report their progress. I also awarded a few of them their first medals. These had been active on the platform for more than a month and formed really good friendships, while some have to repeat because they were caught plagiarizing, using AI to generate their content, or simply not engaging.

Promotion:

During the week, I continued to promote Steemit and was able to sign up 2 people - @princejoe and @preshthankg. I also guided them to introduce themselves. They seem to be good writers. I've encouraged many inactive users to come back. One such user is @abijos; she reactivated her account, and I hope she will remain consistent this time. Generally, I helped a lot of fellow users, both new and old, through WhatsApp chat, phone calls, and Discord. I'm planning to hold physical training for the freshers to give them a very good start because some of them seem not to understand many things on chats and calls.

Contest:

The comments contest expired, and more than 30 users participated. I rewarded 10 outstanding commenters and also initiated a new creative and engaging writing contest. It's about a defining moment in our lives and how it affected us. This contest will keep the community active and engaging; many have already joined and shared their unique experiences. I hope we can learn one or two things from one another.

Personal Account:

I tried to be active, reviewed posts and gave guidance when needed and encouragement when necessary. As usual, I encountered a few plagiarism and I warned the offenders and also guided them on how to properly source their images and where to sort out free images. I also gave guidance on using proper club status tags etc.

In Addition to the above I published some interesting and educative posts, I've powered up and reached a small milestone of the next thousand SP, and I'm glad that I am growing bit by bit. This was it for last week!

The planning for the general meetup is ongoing, I will publish a post for it, on Sunday. I hope to continue to be indispensable, thank you for reading me!
