Week 3 Curation Report By Team Newcomers
Dear Steemit Team,
We are glad to report our last week's activities as Team Newcomers community curators. It was one of the amazing weeks we had, Newcomers are growing and the platform is booming again because more are signing up daily.
As part of our work, we've supported and encouraged them to be active, and consistent. Communication is the lifeboat of the platform, so we always encouraged them to read and comment meaningfully on fellow user's publications. We also encouraged them to power up and join any club status they are comfortable with as this will help them grow their accounts. Below is the reflection of our Activities:
Country:
We were able to support 167 Posts from 8 different countries Nigeria took the lead with 65 upvotes, seconded by Venezuela with 28 upvotes and then Bangladesh with 25 Upvotes respectively. We were excited to see new ones from China, Peru and Italy, we hope to see them grow.
Community:
We found their posts in 29 different communities, The Newcomers community was leading with 26 Posts, seconded by Steem4bangladesh with 19 posts, and Steem4Nigeria was the third with 18 Posts accordingly.
Club status:
We are flexible with the status rule, especially for those who are still new to the system, we normally encourage them to power up at least 50% of their reward as this will help them to strengthen their accounts. Last week we supported 106 club5050 posts, 48 No Club, 9 were in club75, and 4 of club100.
Good Comments:
To encourage meaningful engagement and contribution, we've upvoted 30 good comments on the blog.

@mayasari95 shares his journey after receiving sad news about his grandfather, his grandfather was a 102-year-old Indonesian freedom fighter who was lying ill. This story is heartbreaking when the grandfather breathed his last breath, the dream the author experienced was very real, this post creates an emotional bond with readers through universal themes about losing someone, love of family, and respect for the services of an independent hero. Apart from that, this post is a reminder of the death of a hero, by embracing the meanings of life.. Heriadi 4 days
