Hello dear steemians,

At the beginning of this guide I would like to thank all the administrators of our kind ecosystem Steemit.Inc for this continued trust in our "Quality Control" team for the fourth consecutive time to lead the curation mission in order to upvote and also select the best articles writings in the fields of Finance and Technology.

The "Quality Control" team has kept its same members @kouba01,@shemul21,@irawandedy,@pelon53,@fredquantum, @nane15,@chiabertrand since the first sessions which gives an idea of the solidarity and the understanding that has formed between us and we are determined to make this period as successful as usual, given the experience acquired by practicing the same task for the past four months, during which we have been able to develop our performance and overcoming the mistakes we have made unintentionally, so I think we will see a professional and integrated team that knows what the job is, and its most important principles are transparency in its vote and integrity in its choices away from narrow affiliations and accounts, so I hope we and the rest of the select team will be successful and invite them to serve the interest of advancing the content on our platform to whom we owe so much.

The tags requested by our team

Tagging is very important for determining the topic and content of the article, as it is easy to search and categorize it. Therefore, our curation team invites all users wishing to write content related to our areas of interest to adhere to placing our tags so as not to be skipped and not to be upvoted on, and we will indicate successively the most important of them:

  • #FinTech: This main tag combines the two areas we are interested in, which are finance and technology. Therefore, I urge all users writing in these areas to include obligatorily this tag in their articles.

  • #Finance, #Business, #Cryptography, #Science, #Technology, #Computing: These tags contain all the areas we care about, each user has to add one tag per article so that we can do the statistics each week efficiently and in an orderly manner.

  • #club100, #club75 and #club5050: These tags determine the club to which each user belongs, so we invite everyone to check their participations so that their articles are not skipped in case of putting the inappropriate tag. And we don't hide a secret from you that we have a special preference and upvotes for people belonging to #club75 and #club100 for their effective contribution to the development of the growth of the value of steem, we therefore invite everyone to contribute by increasing the value of his SP so that everyone benefits.

  • #Steemexclusive: Many users do not know the meaning of this tag indicating that the article is exclusive to the Steemit ecosystem and the author cannot reproduce it from his previous articles on other platforms, and it is a required tag in all articles.

  • We ask users not to combine our #fintech tag with tags linked to other curation teams so as not to be skipped since an article can only benefit from one upvote.

  • The same applies to articles written in the Steemit Crypto Academy community that are upvoted directly by Sc01 and Sc02.

How does our team proceed to detect plagiarism?

We have noticed that most users either don't know how bad plagiarism is for the quality and reputation of our platform, or they have an incorrect view that anything posted in the public is considered as a common good.

Therefore, our first step in tackling plagiarism is to raise awareness and identify what can be done to prevent users from falling for it in their work. Therefore, one of the appropriate ways to deal with such situations is to help them understand that their continuous attempts will help develop their research skills, problem-solving skills, develop their analytical skills and stimulate their perseverance and commitment.

But there will be those who deliberately plagiarize, and the motive may be for the sake of rebellion or because they are not concerned with the matter, and they may still believe that the information should remain accessible to all and be treated in completely free and therefore, we warn this type of users by muting their participation in the areas on which we upvote.

Here we rely on the vigilance of all members to select these suspicious publications using several tools that are available to all, but we also rely on the experience they have acquired during working periods on the platform that allowed them to distinguish individual posts.

Our Curation Plan

We have chosen to follow the same strategy used by our team before to organize the work within our group in order to maintain work continuity and so that each member can carry out their task with the required efficiency. So each curator will review all tags on their assigned day and take care of any objections and violations.

DayCuratorTime active on Steemit
Monday@shemul219:00 AM-5:00 PM UTC
Tuesday@nane1511:00 AM-9:00 PM UTC
Wednesday@pelon5302:30 PM-11:30 PM UTC
Thursday@chiabertrand09:00 AM-8:00 PM UTC
Friday@irawandedy09:00 AM-8:00 PM UTC
Saturday@fredquantum06:00 AM-9:00 PM UTC
Sunday@kouba017:00 AM-9:00 PM UTC

As we mentioned earlier, each member who upvotes for articles written in our team's areas on their assigned day will submit an internal report through our channel on Discord that includes their stats and the most important observations they have. he encountered while carrying his tasks. He will also suggest his best publication to us so that we can discuss his choice and ensure his originality.

For more transparency, after each upvote, the curator leaves a message indicating his passage by putting the percentage granted, which is focused on several factors, the most important of which are the quality, the club to which you belong, the aesthetics of the article, ...

Example message:

Your post has been successfully curated by our team via @curator_username at 40%. Thank you for your committed efforts, we invite you to do more and keep posting high quality posts for a chance to win valuable upvotes from our team of curators and why not be selected for an additional upvote later this week in the Top Seven.

It will be verified periodically by all members that the upvoted user has not exceeded three votes per week to give as many users as possible to benefit from our curation.

Users are prohibited from taking advantage of automated voting and receiving rewards via bots for violating our Proof of Brain (PoB) policy to receive rewards.

It is also forbidden for any member to vote on an article for his colleague from the same team, even if he belongs to our domains, and each curator is obliged to upvote by 100% only once on his active article.

At the end of each week, we present a detailed report of our work over seven days, in which we include the most important observations and recommendations that we want users to adhere to in order to improve the quality of the content. We then announce the best seven articles written during this period.

We wish success to all the teams and ask everyone to make this internship a success.

Best Regards,
Our Curation Team
