Week#4 Curation Report (August Session)| Finance & Technology | Quality Control Team| @steemcurator05
Hi Steemians,
On August 25, 2022, the Quality Control team completed the fourth week of curating articles in the fields of finance and technology > and who have tagged under #fintech, without any difficulty or problem. This may be one of the last reports for this exemplary team who have worked hard and done their best to maintain the quality of writing on the Steem platform, so I want to thank all the current curators and those who left with the hope of meeting us in future missions and challenges.
Going back to this week, we got as before full of posts to check them out, realizing an increase in its number to reach 220 posts, a slight increase of more than 2% compared to last week. Of course, not all of them were accepted, because only 140 articles were upvoted, increased by 5%, compared to the 77 posts that have been skipped, and as this week witnessed the existence of some articles containing plagiarism, their number will be mentioned in the comments and recommendations of the members, and as usual we invite the participants to take advantage of them to overcome errors that occur.
We move on, as usual, to presenting the most important general statistics that will be detailed by each voter, to conclude the report with the best articles of this week. Good follow-up.
The observations of our curators :
@irawandedy 1st-day
The curation activity on August 19, 2022 was not as expected, in terms of quantity, it was difficult to get posts that deserved to be curated. Overall, the posts that I checked were 32 posts with various tags that became the object of the Quality Control Team's curation.
Among the 19 posts I ignored for a number of reasons:
. There are 11 posts that use fintech tagging but the writing is not appropriate.
. 1 more Curation Team curation
. 4 Posts using copyright-free images.
. 1 User is not verified
. 2 Posts identified as plagiarism links :
-https://steemit.com/hive-152587/@technologyjrnl/elon-musk-claims-that-his-tweet-about-purchasing-manchester-united-was-a-joke#@steemcurator05/rgvrvk
Posts that do not use non-copyright free images are as follows:
1 | POVERTY ALLEVIATION |
2 | Active sunspots |
3 | Viernes de Fintech / "Mi criptomoneda favorita" |
4 | Viernes de Tecnología: Progreso tecnológico venezolano en los últimos años |
The 13 content that has received support are grouped into several categories:
. Posts Per Club Status: 7 posts club5050, 4 posts club75 and so club100 fills 2 posts.
. Post Per Domain: finance with 12 posts, then technology with 1 posts.
. Posts Per Language: 9 posts in English, and the remaining 2 post in Indonesian and spain.
No Club : For curation, I prioritize accounts that are members of clubs, and a curation scheme by giving a higher percentage of votes if the club's status is at club100 or club75, but the quality of the content remains an important point. I hope my curation method will trigger them to continuously improve their club status over time.
Skipping Articles: In general content that meets upvote requirements but is skipped because:
. Do not join any club.
. Content does not match the theme of finance and technology.
. Has been curated 3 times during 7 days of curation.
. Using Upvote bot

The day is associated with a lot of articles under our theme, this increase can be attributed to several communities' initiatives to host contests that are related to finance and technology because most of the articles are mostly contest entries.
There is still more emphasis on the need for users to improve the quality of their articles as a few articles were skipped due to very low quality, while the unsuitability of tags and noncompliance with any of the club statuses are other reasons for skipping some articles. The total percentage of articles skipped was 34% of the total check.
In addition, there were no records of plagiarism for the day. Articles related to finance dominated curation today having taken a space of 65% of the total articles curated today. The articles were written in 3 languages, English, Spanish, and Indonesian.
We hope more communities can get their members engaged with contests that are related to Finance and Technology, it worked well for the volume of articles under our tag for the day.

During the fourth week of the August curation session, 21 articles were voted on, a considerable increase of 23% over the previous week. Upvote percentages varied depending on the club status the user held and the level of writing available in the article.
This week we saw a change in terms of percentage starting with the languages which are distributed as follows: 47.6% in English, 33.3% in Spanish, 14.2% in Indonesian and 4.9% in Turkish. We also saw a bit of a balance between the two areas (57% for finance and 47% for tech), a steady balance that we hope to keep in the coming seasons and we invite users to pay the same attention. to tech. However this week saw a gap between articles owned by club100 users at 14.3% compared to 42.8% for club5050 and 42.8% for club75, and we urge users who want a higher vote to increase the club value.
Additionally, we found only one article that contained plagiarism (https://steemit.com/hive-183397/@mbemba2310/arbitrage-trading-take-note-of-these-important-lessons-i- learned-regarding-arbitrage-trading) and 8 articles were skipped for various reasons, the most important of which was poor writing.
We also noticed 3 articles with weak content that were ignored, as well as 1 articles belonging to non-club users and 1 articles not belonging to the domain in which we are interested and 3 articles containing no free copyright image.

The quality of the contents this Monday was very low. There were a very few posts that were in the good category while the others are just approaching the formality. There was a very huge loss in the quality of the posts as compared to the previous week. I try my best to curate only those posts that were of good quality and fulfill all the criteria to be able for getting support from our team.
I have skipped a total of 7 posts. There were a few reasons behind skipping the posts. One of the post was skipped as the user was not the member of any #club. While, another was skipped the author has already received 3 votes from our team. While, other 5 posts were of very low quality, so I have to skip them. So, these are some reasons behind skipping those posts.
@ozenozge 5th-day
Although the number of posts was above average on my curation day this week, the quality was not. Of the 31 posts, 25 were upvoted and 6 were skipped. There was no troublesome situation such as plagiarism. Skipped posts were either of low quality or were not voted because they were not #steemexclusive. Just like in the previous weeks, while the number of English posts was dominant this week, there was no post in any language other than Indonesian and Spanish. The finance category also had more content than technology, as it did for most weeks.

In today's curation Wednesday (8/24/2022), I found enough posts, some of them of high quality. Today I was able to review 28 posts, but only 20 posts complied to receive a positive vote from SC05.
The total 8 post were skipped, of which 4 post did not meet the requirements of having copyright free images, 1 post the author had received 3 votes in the last 7 days and 3 post were not voted because the authors did not belong to any club. To the skipped posts, a comment was left, so that they can improve and receive a vote from SC05 in the next publications.
@chiabertrand 7th-day
During my curation this week, I noticed there was a little decrease in terms of content quality and content quantity because I came across just 20 articles that met up with the requirements this week as compared to the 24 articles last week. I had to skip 17 articles for several reasons which I will be elaborating below.
Most of my skipped articles were content not related to #Finance and #Technology, other articles were users who are abusing and violating #club status or not belonging to any club. Other skipped articles were articles which the authors had already benefited from sc05 account 3X within 7-days.
I curated 19 articles under #Finance and 1 under #Technology. This means Steemians aren't publishing articles under #Technology. I hope to see more users creating articles under this two themes and most especially under #Technology
To conclude, this week was not as good as last week because I couldn't support much articles. I hope I get to support much more articles in the upcoming weeks

Why?
During the curation period Friday, August 19, 2022, I chose a post with the topic "Modern Organic Farming with IETO Taipei" published by @ettydiallova. He wrote about the use of human resources in Taiwan through education on the agricultural system in developed countries such as Taiwan which can then be applied in Indonesia, this is a form of strengthening the economy of the community in the agricultural sector considering that as an agricultural country, Indonesia, which has a lot of vacant land, can be used by immigrants to manage it. modern agricultural sector such as in Taiwan.

Considering the level of quality articles created today by users that have proven to be genuine, this article stands out to be the best. It's an article that is centered on attracting more businesses to Steem through various means.
The purpose of the project goes beyond visiting businesses alone but promoting Steem in such a way that the businesses embrace it and that will contribute to the growth of Steem as we would see more adoption in the long run. It's an amazing piece and quite detailed, as such it's selected for the top spot.

There were some reasons behind the selection if this post. In this post, the author has explained about the coding for various writing patterns especially the Diamond patterns that code be used by the developers in their coding schemes. She has explained very nicely about each point and also, she has shown the results of each output with a very clear and brief manner. Also, the presentation of the post was also super cool. So, these are some reasons behind the selection of this post.

I've had a hard time finding the best quality post this week. Most of the content published during the day was average. Since this post is ahead of other content, I can say that it is the best post in my voting day. The author both supported the #burnsteem25 campaign and being a #club100 member made my selection easier. In this article, the author introduces the drug orders he placed for his micro-business. While explaining the purpose of the ordered products and what ailment they are good for, the prices of the ordered products in terms of Steem and local currency are also given.

In author reviews a local business, this is the Dechoice Mall Uyo Akwaibom State. Where she shows part of the products that this business sells and gives the prices that these products have. It is a business that has a variety of products that offers to the public and the quality of the products is excellent.
One of the advantages of this business is its location, since it is located in a strategic place, where local people can visit it and find favorable prices for the products.

Why do you mention the big curator accounts? This is very uncomfortable. You should really know that we notice the reports of the selected curators. That's why this community is set up. It's checked several times a day.
So be a good example and STOP unnecessary mentions! Thank you.
Thank you so much sir @kouba01 for this great report which you have taken time in preparing it
