I took a few days “off” to spend some time with my family; therefore, I was not as active as usual. I will be back in full swing shortly.

I have to give the moderators of the community a compliment.
Through their hard work and dedication, we again have over 200 active posts.

A big thank you also to the team for granting us the opportunity to be part of Season 19 of the Steemit Engagement Challenge.
We are looking forward to what the next few weeks will bring.
My duties:
- Curation and verification of posts on my day of duty as well as filling in on the days of others
- Educating and monitoring 7 moderators
- Validating MOD verifications
- Verifying new members
- Booming posts submissions and community voting
- Taking care of community notifications and comments
- Writing of 3 community posts
- Monitoring and running of community contests
- Lending a helping hand to members of the community
- Approval of moderator contests
General
A helping hand was lent to three Steemians on WhatsApp and various others via the platform.
It was all quiet on the Discord server.
▸Africa:
“How to Be Unique in 7 Days,” which @Ngoenyi and I will be hosting, will start on Monday, July 15. From now until then, we will be inviting Steemians from Africa to join the project.
There is no doubt in our minds that this project will make a big difference in the quality of posts.
▸Curator assistance
Assistance was given to two curators and one curating team.
Issues encountered:
A strange thing was encountered this morning. An entry by a Steemian does not appear under the contest tag. It is the first time that I’ve seen this happen. Normally, if you refresh after some time, it will show up. Not in this case. I've also double-checked that the correct tag was used.
I want to urge Steemians to check if their posts are listed and, if not, to bring them to the attention of the hosts. Especially with SEC19 starting soon.
