I'm pleased to present to you another week’s report shedding some light on my activities, progress, and the problems I’ve experienced. I do believe that these reports serve as a roadmap for my development and improvement on Steemit.

Steem For Ladies

Our booming votes are running smoothly again.
Thank you to the Steemit team.

Unfortunately, we had to remove one of our moderators due to the use of plagiarized and paraphrased content.

My duties:

1. Curation and verification of posts on my day of duty as well as filling in on the days of others
2. Educating and monitoring 6 moderators
3. Validating MOD verifications
4. Verifying new members
5. Booming posts submissions and community voting
6. Taking care of community notifications and comments
7. Writing of 2 community posts
8. Monitoring and running of community contests
9. Lending a helping hand to members of the community
10. Approval of moderator contests

General

This week, seven users were helped through the various social media channels. Steemians were also helped via the platform.

I now have an invite-only server on Discord, through which I am helping Steemians.

▸Africa:

Supporting and helping my fellow Steemians from Africa is still a priority for me.

▸Communities

One community was helped this week.

▸Curator

Two curators and two curating teams were helped this week.

Issues encountered:

I am forever telling Steemians that we are not walking encyclopedias; therefore, when we share information, it is important that we list our source. This was required when we were in school, varsity, and now also on Steemit. If you don’t do this, you are going to find yourself in hot water, and that is exactly what happened this week in our community.
An example of how it can be done

The second problem I’ve experienced was a Steemian who copied a comment from another Steemian and changed a few words. This after I had already warned him not to do it. Well, he was handed over to the “Steemit Paw Patrol.” Don’t do this! Be proud of the work that you deliver on Steemit.

To close my feedback this week some information about the verification process for new users.

It will now take a month to get verified as a Steemit user after the Achievement 1 post was posted. During this period, the newcomer can strengthen his/her application not only by posting regularly but also by building relationships with other Steemians by reading and commenting on posts. In other words, show your commitment to Steemit and your fellow Steemians while you wait to be verified.
