Hello Steemians, trust everyone is doing great. On behalf of the team, I want to thank Steemitblog for selecting us out of numerous applicants and everyone who supported the SEVENGERS curation team. We are confident that we will not let the Steemit community down and will execute our responsibility with all the diligence it deserves to achieve an effective curation process.

Declaration of Tags to be tracked by the team

It is very critical to have tags to guarantee that we can find the post and carry out the curation effectively. Users are therefore encouraged to use the right tags related to the subjects they discussed in their posts. The team is made up of professionals and teachers in the areas of Science, Technology and Computing. It means that we have the expertise to thoroughly investigate a publication before upvoting. To make sure that we do not miss out on any related content, the following tags will be tracked by the team. Additionally, users are encouraged to include these tags in the first five tags of their posts.

  • #SCoT: This tag represents the general theme which is Science, Computing and Technology. It should be included in any content that is associated with this general theme.

  • #Science, #Technology, #Computing: While the #SCoT is the general tag to be used, each user is required to use a specific tag that corresponds to their content. Content related to a particular theme will be reviewed by the curation team according to their expertise. This means you can use either #science, #computing, or #technology in your post.

  • Country Tag (eg. #Nigeria): Users are encouraged to include their country in the first 5 tags. The purpose of this is both to ensure that we can perform effective data analysis and also to proactively achieve a greater reach across the globe.

  • Club Status ( #club5050, #club75, #club100): The Steemitblog initiated the #club5050 program for the development of the Steemit ecosystem. Because of this, we strongly encourage you to include your club status as one of the first five tags when posting. The users who are part of the #club75 and #club100 will receive additional rewards. Ultimately, we believe that this will encourage and motivate users to strive to build their effective Steem power. Please note: Additional rewards are solely based on the decision of @steemcurator01.

  • #Steemexclusive: We strongly recommend all users to include this tag in their publication, as this is another very important way to indicate that the post is exclusive to the Steemit ecosystem.

Users are encouraged to include these tags in their posts carefully so we can curate their posts effectively. These are the main tags the team will look out for. Additionally, users can add tags relevant to the topic they are discussing.

How the team will check plagiarised posts

We Understand that plagiarism is an issue within the Steemit ecosystem and how to deal with it. To achieve this, the team will make sure that all posts are evaluated critically using effective plagiarism detection tools. Further, we will ensure that every citation found in the content is a direct link to the original author and that it represents the source of the citation as well. Additionally, we will ensure that all images are obtained from copyright-free sources with appropriate attribution.

The team will designate one member who will be assigned to track down plagiarized content, as well as cross-checking the curated posts again to guarantee that they are not plagiarised. This responsibility have been taken up by @zmoreno to assist other curators in hunting for plagiarised content. As soon as we detect any form of plagiarism, we will inform the appropriate accounts that fight plagiarism to take relevant disciplinary action. For future references, we will also keep a record of those users who have been convicted of plagiarism.

Curation Team Plan

In this section, we have strategically drafted a curation plan that will enable the team to carry out its task effectively. This team members selection was done considering the time zone and also the area of expertise to be covered. This will enable us to review all the tags daily and also have an active member to respond to complaints. The table below shows the curation schedule for the SEVENGERS team.

Sunday@reminiscence01Weekly Report and All round Curation

From the table above, the 3 compulsory tags will be checked daily as we have scheduled users according to different time zones. At the end of the day, the posts that meet the standards and requirements for curation will be upvoted with an adequate voting percentage. This will enable us to have enough time (approximately 24hrs) to recharge the voting power.

A comment will be left on each post curated for transparency and documentation. The post will be upvoted according to the review of the team member with preference given to #club status.
An example of the comment is shown below.

Thank you for sharing your ideas on Science, Technology and Computing. This post has been upvoted by @reminiscence01 using @[curators account] account. We encourage you to keep publishing quality and original content in the Steemit ecosystem to earn support for your content.

To ensure there's a wider reach of curation, each user is limited to receive not more than 3 upvotes in a week. Also, users who have already received upvotes from other curators and booming support will not be eligible to receive an upvote on the same post. This strategy will help us to ensure that we curate as many posts as possible that meet the curation requirements.

Users who are guilty of buying votes from bot accounts like @tipu, @upvu etc. are not eligible to receive upvotes. This is not a good practice and it is against the process of curation. Users are meant to be rewarded on the Proof of Brain (PoB) mechanism. Therefore, we encourage users to refrain from the practice of using bots accounts to receive rewards.

The account will be strictly used for only upvoting quality content. To ensure there's transparency among the team members, the team leader @reminiscence01 will be in charge of curating a member of the team's post daily with 100% upvote and also ensure that not more than 10% of the voting power is used to vote a member's post in a week. This means that the team members are not allowed to vote their own posts using the curator's account.

At the end of the week, the team leader will make a post highlighting the curation report and also select the best 7 posts for the week nominated by the team members. Similarly, all the members of the team will be set as beneficiaries for the post as a means of rewarding them for their hard work.

The team will pay more attention to the quality of content published and also its originality. The Steemit community encourages all members with an interest in science, technology, or computing to share their experiences and ideas. The curation team will always be there to support you to the fullest extent possible as long as you comply with the standards and requirements mentioned above.

Best regards,

SEVENGERS.
