Looking back/ looking forward

in CCC2 years ago

Scrolling mindfully through quora today, I came across a post titled “ moving on from past pain..” or something of the sort.
I paused too skim it. The points were awfully repetitive but one thing they all seemed to have in common was forgiveness and forgetting about the past.

I wouldn’t have said I’ve been majorly tested when it comes to my my interpersonal relationships till a few months ago. I’ll bet I’ve mentioned it. A fight blah blah…

My resilience was in place whenever I needed it. Go stoicism!

Anyway I realize I’m unable to be myself in potentially personal social situations such as having a new room with strangers for roommates.

Looking forward, I think after taking note of my social coldness in these situations have helped me to tackle it somewhat and i I expect to be back to my old self; maybe a less trusting version that’s almost as good as the old me.

To forgiveness 🥂

New roommates.. If it comes to it I do not like to have roommates at all. It makes me uncomfy same to my children.

Forgiveness is hard and I have strong doubts we can. Bad things, hurt is stored in the brains. Even if you say you forgive, you feel it is fine to forgive that hurt, the anger can pop up after year's (my experience).

Strength but most of all 🍀♥️

I didn't like sharing a room when I studied at the university either.

It is about forgiving, not feeling the anger that does not allow us to live in peace. The memory never ends but peace is left in forgiveness.
