Couch

I asked mom if we can have another couch. Ours is huge and there isn't much room left. A bit more space would be great. I would love to have a smaller one and red sofa would be cool. For two people is big enough. It doesn't need to be a new one, second hand is fine.
Mom feels a bit sad about it, the couch is still fine even though it's about twenty years old.
We no longer have a car so it will be hard to visit shops and try them out.
Mom says we have to get rid of the old one first before we buy something new. The thing is how we can get rid of it. What would you do?
