The Bread - Short Film

in Netflix & Streaming2 days ago (edited)

What will we eat today? Bread? This short film I noticed before but skipped it because it didn't look inviting to me but here it is. The Bread is not bad at all or at least not if we may believe the baker who ate it after closing time (we all know how early a baker wakes up and starts).

Nothing is as great a being a bread and ending up for sale and being chosen by a customer (which is something new to me). The "take me, take me" looks as if puppies are jumping up and down as soon as they see someone looking at them. Take me? There's one piece of bread noticing something he doesn't like and comes up with a plan.

End good all good?

A short film is great if you need a break and put your mind on something else. If you are short on time (this is the most heard excuse these days) have a look and enjoy yourself for a while. Short films are getting more and more popular and guess what? There's a community Netflix and Streaming where you can post your opinion/review about whatever you watched. By now most of us will watch online and no longer buy a DVD (let alone a VHS videotape, I still have many).

The Bread

  • Animation
  • GULU
  • Ending Music : 'Alone' - By Vino Ramaldo

Gulu animation has only 4 animations and the other 3 (Toast, Memories and Shine Again) are in the same style but unlike the commenters, I find it hard to see the message. If any of you do, let me know.

@jiva34 @shahid76 @nijsoro do you have a short film review to share for the weekend?

Its funny that the main "bread" character wants to avoid being chosen by customers because it saw what happened to the first "co-bread" chosen and then eaten thereby shocking his/her/its "breads-out" lol and trying not to get chosen by warping itself to a less desirable shape only to be eaten at the end of the day but with a twist of going to the bread heaven.

Kids will learn from this animation like making them believe that there is life beyond this life and that the real life is to be with God in heaven which is full of joy and happiness with no more negative things that we experience here in this world like fear, grief, worrying, sorrow, pain, suffering, etc.

If we look upon this animation deeper with regards to inculcating values to our children, we must act fast in planning how to raise our Kids the right way because there are so many influences out there to fashion the youngling's mind which is now currently happening because of their much exposure to bad videos like sexualized content as an example. That is why I am sure that a young children with a Smartphone already had been corrupted with their minds, that id if their parents really had been protecting their children accordingly.

That is why there is an issue about AI where it will be used to not only influence the minds of not only children but all of us because of the videos, mass media, and narratives to make us believe a thing to benefit those big entities that controls AI until maybe AI will control everything in the future society which I guess will be far more unimaginable to witness from our current perspective.

I hope that you have a nice weekend @wakeupkitty😀👍🌹

I realized that eating bread with Japanese Kewpie would bore my taste buds. Maybe I will have to revert back to using Strawberry jam again.😆

All those things you see in a film I don't see. 😀

To me, it's just something funny to look at, more funny than expected. It's kind of weird to consider even the bread we eat feels pain. Imagine everything screams if we try to eat it or worse if we reach out for it and we can hear it. What a noisy world we will live in.

I wonder how a new piece of bread knows it won't be sold if it looks less attractive, there's no example. That baker should have know each one of them looked perfect.

I agree with you that more simple animations are good to trigger the fantasy. I still find it strange how we are 24/7 confronted with sex and aggression on tv, the internet, radio, and everywhere. For long we had special TV hours for children and I for long I've been fascinated by simple children's programs like TikTak and and so on.

TikTak (Belgium)

Fabeltjesland (Fable land/Dutch) - I liked the crying wolf most. Later it became more political. No fun.

Peppi and Kokki

I keep my weekend easy, the same as on the other days of the week. I wish you a good weekend, without too many worries and pain and hope your parents are doing well.

It's a long time ago I had strawberry jam. Who knows I have some homemade. It can be good to taste something else for a change.

♥️🍀
