SLC | S21W2: Effective Classroom Management"

We are in week 2 already, I'm ready to share my knowledge on effective classroom management, as a teacher it is very necessary to know how well to manage the classroom. I will be answering the homeworks this:

To the best of your knowledge, what is effective classroom management, and what does it have to do with planning, implementing, evaluating learning, and utilizing resources optimally? Explain the relationship of each of these points using your language. (2.5 points)

As a teacher, classroom management are those approach or techniques that we use in order to ensure effective goal at the end of the lesson. As a teacher planning is one of those techniques that make teaching work so easy ,for example preparing lesson note before the lesson helps a teacher to plan ahead of the students. As a classroom teacher I try everything possible to implement good approach like singing and repeating myself so that the students will understand the lesson. As the end of the class I ask questions to know their understanding on the lesson. The use of charts , pictures and textbooks are utilize for effective classroom management.

Using this approaches in classroom helps the teacher to coordinate and under the students.

How do you go about creating a classroom atmosphere that supports the learning process?, he explanation you give is based on personal experience that did. (2 points)

What I do as a teacher ,is helping the students to arrange their seats and make sure their things are in order, afterward I will start by telling them stories that will bring their mind to the teaching of the day.

I make sure to know my students by their names and call them by their names sometimes giving them sweet nicknames from their names.

I allow them to handle my maker while asking them to write or draw whatever they like.

According to your experience and observations, what factors can hinder effective classroom management? Explain why these things are a hindrance. (2.5)

I have observed that there are factors that hinder effective classroom management they are:

Factors	causes
Class size. Where the number of students in the class is much the teacher finds it difficult to deliver efficiently	this is caused by lack of classrooms and few teachers in the school as such students are packed in one class
Diction. The choice of words used by teacher can hinder effective classroom management.	The teacher fails to understand the English to use so that the students can understand
Threat . When a teacher is always threatening the students it poses that fear that makes them lose interest in their learning	I have witnessed it the day I threatened one of my students, the next day I saw him hiding from me, since I stopped
Noisy students	As a teacher if I did not apply some techniques that are interesting to the students it will prompt them to be making noise,hence it will hinder the goal of the lesson.

Effective classroom management has a relationship with the Learning Contract? What do you think about this, explain comprehensively according to your thoughts. (2 points)

Definitely they related. Learning Contracts as we learned in last week class is focusing on having a good relationship with the students, managing the behavior of students ,it also help the students to have a conducive environment for learning. While effective classroom management helps in making the students comfortable and capture their mind towards comprehending the lesson.

I'm known in my school for using this method, it has been one of my best effective classroom management, that makes the children to bond with me

A good teacher must know how to effectively manage the classroom despite any challenges, this can helps the teacher to stand out among his or her colleagues at workplace.
