All4one :: Let's know more about contraceptives.
Hello everyone,
Introduction
Two days ago I made a post about invention of contraceptive and @focusnow asked some valid questions and I promised to shade more light on the topic of contraceptions.
@focusnow asked three important questions let's see what science and life experiences has to say about those important Questions.
Question No 1.
Can a contraceptive become so complicated that when a woman is ready for children, it becomes difficult to remove?
Answer
Contraceptives are human invention and humans are imperfect so it can never be a perfect thing all through.
In some cases there are complications that can affect a woman's child bearing but that are some factors contributing to that.
Personal experience.
After the birth of our second son my mother decided to go for Intrauterine contraception and she was on it for Nine years.
On the ninth year she became very sick and decided to take the intrauterine contraception off, she went to the hospital and the doctors discovered that the intrauterine coil has shifted and has sunked into her body and her body covered it.
That period wasn't a funny one because my mother was transferred to a specialist hospital, the consultant now discovered that the IUD has turned to another problem, my mother was anemic and affected the implant.
Finally the doctors rescued my mother's life by doing some surgery on her to take off the coil.
The doctor now said that the cause of such problem was as a result of not going for check up.
Take home point
If a woman is on any form of contraception she should be visiting the doctor from time to time to know if the body is still accepting such method of contraception, if the implant has shifted or if the injection is no more good to her body.
If a woman fails to go for check up while on any form of contraceptive, unbearable complications might come as a result of that.
But if a woman always visit the doctor for check up she can be on contraceptive for twenty years without any complication.
Question No 2.
Do contraceptive fall? or are they guaranteed 100% to prevent pregnancy?
Answer
Like I said earlier in as much as contraption is a human invention the possibility to fail might be there but when some mistakes occur.
In some cases that contraceptives fail are as a result of the woman not using it as it should be used or not visiting the doctor at the appropriate time.
In some cases too it might be as a result of the mistake of either she Nurse of the Doctor during administration of the contraceptive.
For instance the oral contraceptive are taking immediately a woman's monthly period starts and the woman will never get pregnant but if she takes it whenever she feels obviously she will get pregnant while using contraceptive, same thing applies to when using the injections.
History has proven that it is only one out of 100 will get pregnant while on contraceptives.
Question No 3
Are there moral implications? For example, do some methods kill the egg?
Answer
I don't think so, because contraceptions prevents a woman from ovulating which is the process whereby the eggs are being produced When the body stimulates the production of the hormones progesterone and oestrogen.
So whereby the eggs are not produced they can't be killed, in some methods of contraception the sperms are terminated before they meet the eggs.
I also believe they don't kill eggs because immediately a fertile woman stops contraception she gets pregnant in no time, my mother is a living witness of that , after ten years of having a baby she had our last born.
On the other hand there are some good things that contraception does for a woman.
- It protects a woman from endometrial cancer.
- It helps a woman to have a regular Periods.
- Contraception helps to reduce Cramps, PMS, and Anemia.
*Contraception helps to Prevent Ovarian Cysts. - It helps in clearing Up Skin and Prevent
- Contraception helps in Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS).
If a woman does the right thing by going to a specialist for observation and medical test to identifythe type of contraception that will suit her system, then following up with her check ups and taking the medications the appropriate way and time she will never go wrong with contraception.
Conclusion
We are all grateful to science and technology for all they have been doing to make life easier and they always educate us about those inventions.
I believe I have given @focusnow a clear answer to his questions and am much available to answer more questions from him or any fellow steemian.
I still remain your loyal Nurse @beautybb.
Humble and proudly nurse, can't do without you my great mentor,i really learnt alot from your answers, contraceptive is never advisable from my own point of view
What an Eye Opener. Thank you so much for making these answers clear to me. I really wish that as a professional, you try to produce more health articles like this, its your field.
Waooh, the success rate is very very high then. That is very great. I will resteem this article for future rreference. Ofcourse, I will still come for online personal consultation. Ofcourse, consultation fee is in steem ir tron. hahahaha. @ beautybb
Sure am available at all time.
Great article. Please make more health articles. Its your profession and you can write with some sense of authority. Looking forward to that. Are you looking for topics, I have many:
I have more. These are idea topics @beautybb
Hahahahah okooo, is fine stay tune while I update you with informations you should know.
Hello ma @beautybb it's a good thing to know about the contraceptives although am not a woman but I have learnt so many things because tomorrow I will get married and life goes on..
Thanks very music my able nurse, I do appreciate.
If you get married you won't be a novice to all those informations
🕺🕺🕺🕺🕺🕺🤓🤓🤓🤣🤣🤣🤣 yeah.....
You deserve an applause for giving answers to these questions. I have learnt a new thing from this post. Is good for one to visit the doctor if she is on contraceptives. And while on it, is hard for the woman to get pregnant if properly admistrated.
Exactly
Nice points
Which of the point it nice if I may ask
All, but most importantly, the first one. Where you pointed out that nobody is perfect. Glad you never go astray by trying to defend yourself and the product you intend to invent.
Your post made it to our top 5 selection for today, Congratulations! Could you please support at least one other nominee by commenting meaningfully on their post? Thank you in advance for doing that. You can see the other 4 selected posts in the link below:
Thank you for all answers you gave to all the questions, even though am not using any, those questions are important for young wives
@beautybb thank you once again
Thanks @beautybb for taking us through this medical class which is very inspiring. Though I'm a guy but I think, I have gotten value that can be pass on to any female gender close to me. Thanks for sharing.
More wins.
While being on from preamble I somewhat question myself , but getting briefly below conclusion , perhaps I have myself the answered , no , other ; nurse . Good knowledge there , people need it , to be able to manage birth given / conception.
