Community Curator Project: How to increase the visibility of your posts and receive votes from the Curators
Introduction
The Community Curator Project was brought back by the Steemit team in order to reach more users and support their content with votes. Curator teams made up of persons will be using the curator accounts to support users across languages, communities and different content types. After the initial application and vetting, 5 teams were selected to work on voting posts made under 5 major categories. Understanding how these curators work and what you are expected to do to receive support is the essence of this post. So lets get into details.
Content Quality and Club.
There are 5 major content Themes or categories. Each of them is curated by a particular team. After the selection, each team has explained how their work will be organized. Having gone across all the Team Leader posts, I discovered that whatever theme or category you wish to write on, you must produce quality, original content. And you must be in at least club5050. So here is the summary of what your content quality should look like.
1. Content must be Original: This is a general rule on Steemit, but the teams will be on the look out for stolen content. So whatever topics you write on, ensure that your content is plagiarism-free. If you must use content that is not yours, be sure to put the sources properly.
2. Steemexclusive: You probably use the #steemexclusive tag and should know what it means. In case you so not know, steemexclusive posts exist only on Steemit. So your content should not be duplicated in other platforms where you publish content. If you duplicate your content in other platforms, you should not use the #steemexclusive tag. Of course, that means your post will not be considered by the community curators.
3. Length of Post: It has always been recommended that your posts be at least 300 words long. This will give you enough space to express yourself well and make your content rich. There are many word counters that canbe used to check the length of text. I recommend - https://wordcounter.net/
4. Club: Almost everyone on Steemit now understands that you must at least be in club5050 to receive support. Always check your status in steemworld. Power up at least half of your transfers within a month to remain in club5050. If you power up 75% of your earns within the last 2 months, you are in club75. If you had powered up all your earnings in the last 3 months, you are in club100. So the curators will not support your post if you are not at least in club5050.
So the above are what the community curators will be looking at before they consider your post for vote. Next, let us look at the themes and tags.
Themes and tags
There are 5 major Content Themes or Categories. Each Category is managed by a team. Since the teams will be supporting posts across all communities, they have outlined tags which will help them pick up posts that qualify in order to receive support. So below are the 5 categories and the tags recommended by the curator teams for February 2022. If you miss the tags, the curator teams will not see your content.
1. Arts - art, photography, music, poetry, creative writing: This is the first category. if you make posts under this category and follow all rules, you will likely receive support from THE PERFECT SEVEN team led by @janemorane.

Conclusion
Remember that getting support is not guaranteed. However, if you follow the rules for the community curator project, you greatly increase your chances of being discovered by the various curator teams. Remember, tag abuse is very much frowned against. Make sure to use the correct tags for your posts. For example, using #finance for a diary post is tag abuse.
Finally, always make sure you check your club status daily using Steemworld or other available tools. As we work hard to get support for our posts, we wish you and the curator teams all the best this February 2020. Thank you @steemitblog for this project.
