Warning: This is a phishing link by a scammer to steal your tokens. DO NOT CLICK!
To the attention of all SteemALive members and the entire general users on Steemit, be alert to this phishing link and DO NOT CLICK.
I recently saw this phishing link dropped on the comment section of some posts where the scammer is announcing a Steem giveaway from BTT community. This link is false and I am warning everyone not to click it or supply their wallet details as this will simply led to the theft of your tokens. See a screenshot of the phishing comment and link on a post in CampusConnect community. You can see the username of the phisher too:

A quick one on how phishing works
Phishing is a form identity theft employed by cyber criminals. There are many forms of it. But the most common one is where the phisher sends you a link supposed to be from an original source. Once the link is opened, the phisher demands that you login by submitting your passwords in order to get the supposed giveaway. Once the details are supplied, the phisher uses them to access your account and steal your information - in our case they will steal your tokens.
Many scammers use phishing because they know its really difficult to hack a blockchain platform. So they try to steal your login information by getting you to supply them through a phishing website. Many Steemit members have fallen victim to this kind of scam and have all their tokens stolen.
So for new users who are always the easiest victims, this post serves as a warning and eye-opener never to click links announcing a steem give away because they are always from phishers. They will take you to an external site and ask you to login with your active key. Once you do it, your tokens disappear as the thieve logs in and takes them away.
Lets all be warned and take steps to protect our hard-earned tokens.
