Hello my Wonderful steemian members of steemalive community. Happy new weekend to you all ,I know that as you are going through this post, many of you must be stressed or probably must have experienced stress, and even thought of the stress one would have to experience as the week goes by, that’s why this post is here for us all. So please sit down, relax and patiently go through this piece I had to put together for the benefit of all.

INTRODUCTION TO STRESS

Stress can take a physical, mental and social toll on individuals.

  • Mental stress: stress includes both loss of or increased Appetite, headaches, exhaustion, crying, sleeplessness and oversleeping.

  • Physical stress: The feeling of frustration, apathy may accompany stress.

  • Social stress: Alcohol, drugs and other compulsive behavior are often indications of stress.

STRESS MANAGEMENT

(Dealing with stress).

Stress management Is the ability of being able to maintain, control and pull through when situations, people and events make excessive demands. That is where the question of what can you do to manage stress, what strategies can you adopt to pull through today, this week and the days and months to come. Below I will list down 10 ways to dealing with stress. Please keep reading.

  • Change the way you see things, learn to recognize stress for what it is, increase your body feed back, make stress self regulating. You can control stress and choose when to be stressed.
  • Don’t overwhelm yourself by fretting about your entire workload. Handle each task as it comes. selectively deal with some matters as it comes, people get stressed because they pill up their work , procrastinating events to be handled and when a work Is to be done, they are already creating an impression of an hectic workload.
  • Work off stress with physical activities, for incase, whenever I am stress I do yoga and I end up feeling alive again.
  • Set realistic goals for yourself. Reduce the number of events going on in your life. I experienced this one certain time, until I found this secret, I would naturally then want to be totally involved in all activities that comes to my mind.
  • Remove yourself from the stressful situation, remember you just have to accept that you need to take a break, it won’t spoil anything rather helps to boost you up physically and mentally..
  • Get enough sleep, lack of rest just aggravates stress.
  • Do something for others to help get your mind off stress, yes you please do something, it pushes your mind and weakness off how you feel about stress.
  • Avoid extreme reactions.why be depressed when you can just be sad.
  • Avoid self medication. Alcohol can only mask stress but they don’t deal with the problem.
  • Most importantly, if stress is in it state of an unmanageable state, or interfering with your life, seek professional help.

CONCLUSION

In all this wonderful people, learn how to relax. Let’s carry out a little exercise here. Please keep calm for some moments, push out all work thought, think of something that makes you happy or free spirit, meditate on it, now breath in gently and out , repeat it over and over again, keep clearing your mind of disturbing thoughts. open your eyes how do you feel now. This exercise has proven to be effective.
