The Diary Game: Thursday 15/10/2020 - Package success! My 1st diary entry for season 3( powered-up 100%)

Hello diarists,

I'm so happy to finally write my first diary on @steemalive today.
Welcome to my diary for Thursday 15th of October 2020. It was exciting, fun and a bit stressful for me as well. I spent the day, partly outdoors but mostly indoors at the end, it turned out a success. Please keep reading to see more details of how it all went.

It was a beautiful Thursday morning, I woke up with plans for the day. I was happy and also very anxious because the goods I ordered had arrived Nigeria the previous day and was sent to Good is good logistics at uselu, Benin city so I had to go pick them up by 9am. I kept hoping that everything I ordered was intact so I won't have to go through more stress.

I must say, I woke up really early compared to other days. Although I didn't check the time until a few minutes later.
I said a very short morning prayer, brushed my teeth and then I quickly went to prepare breakfast.

I got to the kitchen and saw a few dirty dishes which I used the previous night but I didn't attend to them because I was in a hurry to meet up with time. Cleaning and arranging the house was the last thing on my mind.

I quickly made pap(akamu) since that was one of the fastest meals I could prepare. I'm not really the type who drinks milk a lot because it upsets my stomach, so I always opt for milo or any cocoa powder available. Trust me guys it tastes even better when you do that.

After eating breakfast, I quickly went to take a bath. When I was out of the bathroom , the time was already 8:12am. I started getting a bit tensed. Dressing up is really not my best moment, because I always have trouble picking what to wear and at this point, my hair was also very messy so I also need to get my wig ready urgently.

"Why didn't I pick these things out yesterday" I kept asking myself. So I made a guide in my head, I needed to wear something chic but also look like a boss( people always say I'm too small 😶)... A few minutes later I was able to pick a nice outfit even though the search was no easy one, I still managed to pull it off

I checked the time and it was already 8:47am, I knew I had to leave immediately because there might be a slight hold up on the way... Although the park is not so far from where I stay I still wanted to meet up with time. It has always been a habit of mine to always be on time.I hurriedly locked the doors and headed out.

I walked to the junction where I had to take a ride from, I had 500NGN with me and the drivers there said they didn't have any change so I had to stand there for a while. After standing for some time and still no driver with change, I decided to take drop(that's like chattering the vehicle)straight to the park because I was running out of time.
It turns out my instincts were right afterall, there was actually hold up on the way but it wasn't so bad.

I looked at my watch again and it was almost 9am... The hold up went on for quite some time but I stayed positive. I finally arrived the park at 9:12am. I tried to convince myself that I arrived lase because of the traffic 😅

I went to the reception section and immediately I was attended to by one of the receptionists, I told him what I was there for, showed him my ID and my shipping details. Then I was asked to fill a form and sign on a few areas.

I was finally done with all the formalities and got my package, I couldn't open it there but I hoped it was all intact. I later ordered for a ride on taxify because I couldn't carry the items on my own. After waiting for a while the driver called me up and said he was already outside the park.

I was already getting really hungry so I needed to get home as soon as possible, at first, I felt like buying something to eat on the way but I decided not to. I got home by 11:45am and nepa had already taken the light. I went inside the house and I suddenly forgot I was hungry a few minutes ago all I wanted to do was open up my package... So I did (lol)

I became at ease after seeing that my order was complete.
I quickly prepared noodles, fried plantains and egg. After eating, I decided to watch a movie on my phone, after a while I felt really sleepy so I took a long nap some minutes.

By the time I woke up, it was already 5:37pm, I quickly went to shower, I wasn't feeling hungry anymore after having such a big meal in the afternoon. By 6:pm, nepa finally brought the light. I spent the rest of the day chatting and watching YouTube videos. Finally, at 10:30pm I went to bed.
