Bitcoin Pizza Day | EPL Last Match Day | A visit to OShodi

Good Day Amazing Steemians, I feel privileged to welcome you to another edition of My Diary game and today, I'll be telling you about my Day on Sunday, 22nd May 2022.

I know you got curious on seeing the caption of this post, please read through for you to get clarified and satisfy your curiosity.

Morning

Just like every Sunday Morning, I woke up by 9AM, had breakfast of hot tea since the weather was hot from last night then, When it was 10:50AM I set out for the Christian meetings that'll be starting by 11:30AM and last till 1:30PM.

At the meetings, We were reminded of how we can be Upright despite the rapid increase in lawlessness today. After that, we reflected on what we can learn from the Israelites of old concerning how the vision of a lampstand strengthened them during the rebuilding of their temple after captivity in Babylon. It was really encouraging.

I and My Brother planned to visit my Uncle In Oshodi that day therefore, we didn't take much time to greet the brothers and sisters after the meeting.

Afternoon

The Journey to Oshodi wasn't an easy one because it was far from my Area IKorodu. Thanks to Lagos State Government for the provision of Bus Rapid transit(BRT) which is a faster means of transportation within Lagos state.

When we got to the BRT Bus stop Ikorodu, we recharged out Cowry card because that's what we'll use to pay for the bus.
The Bus was full already but since we were in a hurry, we paid to stand in the bus.(I must say that Lagos state is over populated to the extent that we pay to stand in a bus).

This is kind of my first time to move a little around Lagos State and I must say, it is an awesome place.

BRT Terminal 3

The BRT Bus Stopped us at the Oshodi Terminal which was very close to Airport Road.
We boarded a Bus to my Uncles Place. It was a good time because he was a football fan too, so, we watched 3 different EPL(English Premier League) matches.

It was the last match day of this 2021/22 football season , therefore, all the matches were played at the same day and time(4:00pm).

There were many things at stake on the part of Many teams like Manchester City that were struggling for the first position with Liverpool, Tottenham that was battling for the 4th Position with Arsenal and Manchester United that was battling for the 6th Position with Westham.

Also 2 great players Mohammed Salah and Son Heung-min were battling for the Golden Boot Award while Allisson and Ederson were fighting for the Golden Gloves award.

Every Premier league lover followed or watched at least one of the matches that was played on Sunday.
It was a hard battle and in the end City won the trophy, Salah and Son both got the awards and same with Alisson and Ederson.

It was after the match ended, that we embarked on our journey back home.

Evening

On our way home, I saw something that never existed in Abia State as the picture shows, I'm yet to find out what it's for.(Anyone who knows about it should please tell me under the comment section).

We waited for close to an hour on the BRT terminal till we got a bus going to our side of the town. Thanks to God for the safe Journey.

On our way home, My brother remembered that it was Bitcoin Pizza Day.

Bitcoin Pizza Day was a day to remember the first known real life Bitcoin Transaction.

On this day, a man used 10,000 Bitcoins to Buy Pizza. That is why the day was Termed, "Bitcoin Pizza Day".
We wouldn't want to miss that, therefore, we headed to Domino's Pizza which was an eatery specialized in making Pizza, we got ourselves one and headed home.

It was very late in the night around 9:30PM when we got home.
We enjoyed the Pizza and went to Sleep.
