Does being possessed logically imply evil? || 100% Power Up

Voodoo, superstitions are major things some Africans focus their attentions on. It is evident in our way of life and how we see things.

Typical Africans believe in superstitions. Most are not well founded but we still believe in them anyways.

There is this belief that duck head and legs should not be eaten. For some people, they don't eat catfish. For others, it snail and so on.

These are beliefs that have been well kept for many years and somehow, many do not dare go against these beliefs.

This brings me to the topic which is being possessed. It is a belief that we even pray against.

Yes, i have watched many films that depict this but whether they are based on reality is a question that would likely beg for an answer.

To say they must have seen it to act it will also suggest that those that acted films about divinity must have seen them before. This might be a fallacy.

But what i don't get is why people are 'possessed' into doing bad or evil? When someone is said to have been possessed by anything, the person tend to do evil or bad thing.

Why is it that they are never possessed into doing good? Perhaps, the word possessed go hand-in-hand with evil, such that once the word is mentioned, it logically means evil or bad.

Have there been situations where people are possessed to give someone cash, car keys, houses etc,?

Can a man be possessed by anything and be made to go to orphanage homes to donate things to them?

I want to believe that the word possessed appears to imply evil or bad. But since i can't know all or see it all, then someone might have experienced someone that was possessed and did something that can be tagged 'good'.

Or i should just conclude that the word is bad or evil and as such, a possessed man is a bad man?

I would love to explore more on the topic and as such would want to hear from readers. Your opinion would be appreciated.
