The Diary Game Season 3: Never Ending Season || How I Spent My Day || Saturday 22nd May, 2021 by @timiwei

Good evening steemians, welcome to my diary post for today. Hope everyone had a great day.
My day started very early despite the fact that it's weekend and there was no work today. Been from Nigeria, a country in the tropics, there are two distinctive seasons (dry and rainy season). Presently, we are at the onset of the rainy season so the rains are expected every now and then. The weather forecast application on my phone had notified me the previous day about today's rain but the timing was predicted to be in the day time(between 12.00 pm and 2.00 pm. So it was a bit of a surprise when it started raining around 4:30 am in the morning and that was the exact time I woke up. I couldn't sleep again till the sun came up.
Saturday mornings are usually my laundry day, and today was not an exception even though it was cold and a bit rainy. After doing the laundry, I ate( took hot pap to warm my body up). As expected, due to the weather the idea of bathing completely escaped my mind until around 2.00 pm.
My activities today were a little bit not stressful compared to week days. However, been a teacher in a secondary school, it is expected that i also had couple of lesson notes to prepare against next week teaching.

Preparing lesson notes

This, I usually do after my laundry and taking an hour rest.
By 3:30 a.m, I was able to complete all half of my lesson notes. So I proceeded to take a well deserved break. During this break, I watched a movie ("the greatest showman"), quite an interesting movie which I recommend to everyone that love music.
After finishing the movie around 6:00pm, it was time to take my dinner. Dinner was white rice and stew which was quite tasty. My last activities include fetching water, taking a walk. When I got back around 8:30 pm, I took my bath and placed a call to my girlfriend (my every night ritual). After speaking with her on the phone, I have been on the bed waiting for sleep to come knocking. By and large, my day was not too stressful when compared to the working days.
