Honda Insight ZE1 Hybrid Road Trip Part One

Here it is, the first instalment of our 542 mile adventure to and from Farnborough.

The Honda Insight ZE1 is a vehicle that was ahead of its time, and far more advanced than a combustion model during the turn of the century.

This Insight was Honda's first car with Integrated Motor Assist (IMA) and was the most fuel efficient hybrid in the United States during all the time it was in production.

It's lightweight aluminium structure is designed to minimise emissions and maximise fuel efficiency, and even with Ben driving, gave up to 56 miles to the gallon.
