I'm participating in the choices contest by @patjewell, I'm talking about the stranger.

Devastated from a toxic relationship, Linda went into a club and ordered for a drink, she drank to stupor, as the memory of what had just happened kept coming back to her, soon she was going to her car when she was confronted by two guys.

"Hello angel, you know that your very pretty huh come to me" One of the Men said as they came and held her, she fought hard.

"Let go of me you fools" she said hitting them away but they were too strong for her.

A stranger with a black hoodie and cap came and fought the hoodlums off and tried to talk to her.

"Where's your home?" The stranger asked.

Linda could not see his face properly but felt safe with him around him and showed him her hotel card and room number, he took her car keys and put her in the back seat, she was really drunk, he drove to her hotel and checked into her room with her.

Linda was a popular model, she trended on so many magazines and everyone knew her to be dating a famous Tycoon's son Mark.

The next day, Linda woke up, she was Changed and though she still had a slight headache, she could remember what happened previously, where is the stranger that saved her the previous night, she couldn't tell, she asked the hotel Managers if they saw his face or where he was but they all said he left that morning.

She got ready and her manager suddenly called
"Linda where are you?" He said

"Why that question, I'm on a leave right now so please" Linda said

"Have you even seen the news! Get over here now Mr Mark calls for you"

She hung up and checked the news, Pictures of her and the masked man all over the internet, with captions that she's cheating on Mark.

Scumbags! She thought and quickly drove to the office.
Mark was there he got up angrily and went to her.

"What this all over the news, who's this guy?" He asked

"Why does it matter to you, last I checked you were with someone yesterday too" Linda responded.

Mark was enraged and wanted to hit her but his brother Matthew held his hand.

"I've told you brother I don't like you hitting women" he said

"Stay out of this, it's couple's business" Mark replied

"I'm not gonna let you touch her again" Matthew said.

Mark tried to hit her but Matthew pushed him away, held Linda by the hand and left there.

Linda was grateful for his act and thanked him for saving her.

"It's fine, if I were you I'd end the relationship with that person her shows no regard for you" Mathew said

"You're right I'll probably do just that I'm tired of this whole suffering, but I really wonder who the stranger that saved me yesterday was, I owe him a lot" Linda said

Linda finally came clean to Mark.
"I'm done with this toxic relationship Mark, I'm tired of the fact that you're hanging out with different girls while calling me your girlfriend" Linda said

"You dare not break up with me, your nothing without me, so It doesn't matter the number of girls around me, it's none of your business" Mark said

"I'm done!" Linda said and left.

The next day news flew around about a video made by mark.

"Your popular model broke up with me for an unknown man, how dare she! Y'all should help me get justice"

Linda was mad, but she didn't know how to defend herself, she began crying, Matthew came to visit her, and saw her crying through the window, he did some stuff on his phone and went in.

"Cheer up darling, your fine, check your phone"

The break up video was viral, someone video the whole conversation and Mark received lots of hatred, he eventually left the country.

Linda still wanted to know who that stranger was, she went to Matthew's house one day and recognized the same black hoodie she saw.

"Matthew, it was you?"
Linda asked

"Yes it was, it's always been me, the person that saved you the first time we met was me but you thought it was my brother Mark, I felt bad but what could I do, so I just stayed behind the scenes, to let you know who he really is, I sent that text message to make you go to the hotel you saw him with that girl, I followed you into the club, so it was me all along!" Matthew confessed

Linda couldn't believe it he was really that stranger, she just hugged him, and finally they became together and lived happily
