What is the funniest anecdote you have on Steemit?

When I first started on Steemit, I found writing daily diaries enjoyable because I didn't need to use many markdown ,correctly was tricky for me. One time, I had meticulously saved a draft for my daily diary that included markdown related .

Later on, when I started participating in contests, I would open this draft and use it for writing contest post. One day, in a rush to edit a post for a contest in the Steem for Nigeria community, I accidentally published it without changing the community from 'Fashion and Style' to 'Steem for Nigeria.'

It was quite embarrassing. After about 2 hours, I realized my mistake. Being new to Steemit, I wasn't sure what to do because I had been working on Steemit for only a few days.

Thankfully, someone quickly pointed out my error. After some tense moments and a late night correction, I learned the importance of double checking everything before posting on Steemit.

When was the moment you felt embarrassed for doing something wrong on the Steemit platform?

I remember feeling embarrassed on Steemit when I first started sharing my thoughts. I had just joined the platform and wasn't familiar with the etiquette of commenting. Others were writing detailed comments, which I found challenging to emulate. I tried to participate in a contest topic was about fashion sence, so I searched on Google for related information.

I found some small theories related to it and started copying them into users' comments, thinking that's what was required. However, later that evening, someone pointed out that I was not commenting correctly and should read the post before commenting. Their tone was a bit harsh, and it made me feel embarrassed.

I apologized and explained that I was trying to provide relevant comments based on what I had found online. They advised me on how to read posts and comment relatedly. Since then, I've been more careful about commenting thoughtfully and based on my own understanding. I even discussed the incident with my sister, who helped me see it as a learning experience.

Tell us, have you participated in a contest and noticed that it has already expired? What did you do with your entry?

Yes, I remember a few months ago when I participated in a contest related to various predictions from The Simpsons cartoons. Just a few days before, my friends and I were discussing these predictions in our class. When I saw the contest, I was excited to participate. However, a couple of days later, after being busy, I hadn't made the post. It was after two days that I realized I should make a post on this topic.

Upon reading them, I discovered that to post in that particular community, we needed to be verified by showing our Steemit id and information on board or paper and face. Without this verification, our posts wouldn't be accepted or receive votes from the community.

Despite putting effort into preparing my post with detailed information and edited pictures I took while watching The Simpsons cartoons on my mobile phone, my request for verification went unanswered. This left me disheartened because I had heard that without community verification, posts wouldn't be acknowledged or voted on.

It was disappointing because I had invested so much time and interest in creating that post, only for it not to be acknowledged due to my missed opportunity to verify my identity.

Do you have a post on Steemit that has always been your favorite?

Yes, I have a favorite post on Steemit. It was my first birthday post when I turned 22 years old. I shared my birthday blog on Steemit with great excitement and heartfelt enthusiasm. It was a special moment for me because I usually don't share personal celebrations, but I felt Steemit was a community where I could express myself freely.

Although I didn't initially receive birthday wishes on my post, I was grateful that the Steem For Ladies community noticed it and showed their support by giving me booming vote as birthday gift 🤗💞.

This made it my favorite post because it was a meaningful experience where I felt appreciated and part of the Steemit community.

What do you admire the most about the Steemit platform?

What I admire the most about the Steemit platform is the friendly and supportive community. Whenever I need help or guidance, there are always people willing to assist, no matter which country they are from everyone being so helpful and friendly. Also, when I was new here some time ago, I received excellent support which I really admire.

Steemit supports newcomers by providing them with help and encouragement, which boosts their confidence. I find this aspect of Steemit really commendable. Also I appreciate how we can share experiences and talents related to our lives here.

It helps us connect with others and improve ourselves within this community, these things make me feel really good about being part of the Steemit community.

That's it from today's blog I hope you will like it. With best wishes ❤️. Now I like to invite @tammanna @rumanaafroz and @neelofar to participate in this amazing contest.

Thanks alot for reading ❤️🤗 .
