Women are not just about being beautiful, even though some say that she was born from a man's rib, but women are a symbol of privilege. They are gentle, they are affectionate, caring, they can do anything that sometimes even men seem unable to do. Women are not weak, they are very strong and also very creative.

On this occasion I will introduce great women from my village. They are women involved in MSMEs making soybean crackers (tempeh crackers) in my village. Initially they did training together at a government-assisted center and they were trained for a month and then given facilities such as tools and materials.

Actually, this female MSME has been around for 2 years, but at that time only one person was selected and I published it here. Then it continued to grow until now there are 4 MSME entrepreneurs, although they are still not growing rapidly. The following is my journey exploring one of the home-made cracker making businesses "UMKM Keunanga" by great women in my village.

When I arrived, I only saw their production which was ready to be stirred. These women have been working in this production house for the past two years since this production house was built. Initially, the pioneer only helped his brother work as a dough mixer.

I remember that the first cracker production house in my village was behind my in-laws' house and now it is next to my house when I moved to the current location. I was very impressed with their enthusiasm. At 7 am they arrived and went straight to work. There are 3 women employed here and all of them are villagers here.

They only work to dry ready-made crackers to dry. Meanwhile, the owner also works as a mixer and also steams and cuts the dough. One month they are given a salary of around 300 thousand per person (net salary even though sometimes there are special holidays).

I saw their activities one by one. Even though it looks simple, their production amount can range up to 25k-50 kg a day. Oh my god, that's not true if there are orders that come for big days such as weddings, circumcisions, and other big events, orders can come in up to 70 kg.😯

In 1 kg, they value it at IDR 20,000/kg. So, 20,000 x 50 = 1,000,000/day. So if multiplied a month 1,000,000 x 30 = 30,000,000 million. Wow, that's fantastic. And usually 30% of the turnover is taken from the profit, so what is the net profit in a month??? 👩‍💼Owner ; Thank God I can send my 4 children to school dand currently I have 2 Hondas, 1 electric bicycle and also 1 car.

🕵‍♀️Me ; Will you expand your business to have branches?
👩‍💼Owner ; I haven't been able to because I'm still busy with my activities as a housewife and also other activities in this village, although sometimes orders come in more frequently.

🕵‍♀️Me ; What is your secret to success?
👩‍💼Owner ; never give up, and most importantly don't listen to other people's complaints, always try and just start first, and wake up early in the morning.

Those are some of my questions, and I also introduced Steemit to him. Now that I am his neighbor, sometimes I ask him to teach me. He responded very well to your request, but I don't have a specific time yet and I want to make crackers but with different creations and flavors such as fish or others. I was very motivated after hearing all the information from him.

I also brought home a sample of thick crackers. They say that eating it after steaming is also delicious, and it turns out that after I tried it, it's really delicious. Children also like it and this product is free from chemicals and safe for consumption by children too.

At home I tried drying it and in the afternoon after it was dry I took it out and fried it. It turned out that the crackers cracked perfectly and because what I got was the thick part, I really liked it, it was crunchy and the spices were also very tasty, it's no wonder that the crackers produced by "Kak Mih", are very popular.
