Introduction

Good day steemians. I trust we are all doing well. I'm happy to share with you all my photo of the week. Before I begin, I'd like to think, @m-fdo for this beautiful contest for women to admire themselves. We are truly a gift from God.

This week was really hectic for me because I had a lot of running around to do, helping my mum, doing my own stuffs and planning my future as i am about to enter another phase of my life.

Admist the stress, i decide to do something I've always wanted to do since i was younger. Which is to get my NOSE PIERCED.
Yes you read that right.

On Thursday morning, i did my chores and left to the body piercing studio.
My appointment was by 10am but i got there some minutes to 11am because of traffic. Someone else had already taken my spot, i had no choice but to wait.
I was asked to eat something healthy before we begun.
I ordered a plate of spaghetti an chicken online. It was hot, spicy and delicious.

After eating I kept admiring myself because I was already anticipating my new look.
Soon the piercer was done and it was my turn.
I was really scared but he assured me it wasn't going to be too painful. I understood because beauty is pain anyway.

I braced myself for whatever was coming
The piercing was fast, it was a sharp pain.
I can't lie, a few drops of tears rolled down my cheeks. But i was determined that that is what i wanted to do.

I was asked to rest for a while while waiting for the bleeding to stop.
Then i was cleaned up, i paid my bills and left.
Nose rings are not to be worn immediately after piercing. Let the piercing be healed first, this can be a period of 1-2 months depending on your skin type
Some skin types can take up to 3-4months
I stopped at a jewelry shop and got a nkse ring.
I put it on as soon as i got home because I was excited and really wanted to see how I'd look.

I wasn't disappointed. The nose ring fitted me so well. My happiness knew no bounds.
After taking pictures, i removed it because i have to let the piercing heal first.
