Hello everyone, good morning to you all. Hope your day is going as planned? Welcome back to my blog.

What happened

When I was seven years old, my Cousin sister got married newly and she gave birth and so she was looking for a little child to live with her and her mom who is my aunt recommended me. My parents after so many persuasion from her and her mom sent me to live with her in Nsukka, a town in Enugu State. During the first few months of staying with her, she was very nice to me, she fed me well, bought me nice clothes and other things.

My cousin suddenly changed after we returned from Christmas holidays the next year. She enrolled me in an afternoon school. She allows me to wash my uniform twice in a week despite she knowing that I'm a child and my Uniform will always be dirty from playing around in the School. She gives me food twice in a day, in the morning and in the night. While I was staying with her, she didn't allow me to enter her sitting room.

She punished and beats me at any slightest opportunity. The last straw that broke the Camel's back was when she accused me of being possessed. I was ostracized by everyone in the house, she didn't allow me touch her, her children and anything that belongs to her. I was treated like a leper in her house.

She was always there whenever My mom called and wanted to speak with me and because of that i couldn't report to my mom. My luck shined when she reported to my mom that I was possessed and that her Pastor says that she needs to fast before my deliverance and my mom told her that her child can never be possessed and that they should send me home and that was how I got my freedom.

What you have learned from it

Well one thing that I learnt from my story is that the young shall grow. Look at me, the young child that was maltreated years back all grown, beautiful and successful and the funny thing is that I had my B.Sc from the prestigious University of Nigeria Nsukka, the town where I was maltreated. I left Nsukka town victorious.

My story was a really a pathetic one but thank God we rewrote it. Thanks for reading through my post, I invite @saintprisca, @pea07 and @ovulama to participate in this contest.

There is no doubt that you were living with your cousin and there when you were seven years old it was definitely a village where you had to live and in the beginning he was very much in love with you. They used to take care of you in every way and by buying new clothes and dresses etc. but after a year their behavior changed and that woman always beat you and wronged you. There is no doubt that All these things are against humanity, man does not allow it, but in all other respects you have faced hardship
