When I heard birds chirping outside my window, I got up as usual early in the morning. My dog likewise never let me spend my morning in bed. After drinking a glass of water on an empty stomach, I felt refreshed. I went to the kitchen to prepare tea for myself and my husband. While sipping my tea, I planned out my day.

As it was raining, I decided to skip our usual walk. Instead, we did simple activities inside our home.

For breakfast, I made roti with cutter sambal, then fed my pet Beenu, and did my normal tasks including sweeping, cleaning, and washing dirty linen. Unfortunately, I forget to get the photographs of my breakfast.

After eating breakfast together, we dressed to travel to the rural bank in our neighborhood for my husband's needs. First, he withdrew some money and then nominated all his assets in that bank in my name. After that, we headed to the supermarket to buy some groceries because we were going to visit our mother-in-law. While I was in the car, my husband went inside and bought items for our mother-in-law.

Our next stop was her house. Every Tuesday, either my husband or both of us go to visit his mother. She was 94 years old and always delighted with our arrival. We spend several hours with her sharing our thoughts and showing our affection. Her sister served us tea and biscuits, and after spending quality time with her, we said goodbye.

When I returned home, I made rice and curry for our meal and bathed my dog. After lunch, we had papaya and ice cream for dessert. Next, I made a list of items that we needed in our home and gave it to my husband to purchase.

When my husband left the house for shopping, I took a quick nap to rest my body. When I woke up, my husband had returned with everything on the list. I organized all of the items in their proper places and then prepared tea with sweets for both of us. Later, I spent a few hours on Steemit, where I frequently connected with the communities, giving comments and posting articles.

Our chief monks had scheduled a meeting for the evening, so I went to the temple with my neighbor. As usual, it was a wonderful and enriching experience.

After returning home, I joined a video conference with my son who is abroad. We had a wonderful conversation covering a variety of topics. He mentioned that he would be attending a conference in France next week. Therefore. he planned to leave tomorrow. I encouraged him to proceed with caution, as he would be visiting an unfamiliar country.

For dinner, we usually have a light meal. Later, I listened to the Dhamma Deshana and read an e-book about the teachings of Load Buddha. When it was time for bed, I went to sleep while reflecting on the day's happenings. I'm glad for the small but meaningful moments in my day.
