Hello sisters and steemit friends, how are you all doing from your end.?

I am doing amazing from here, greetings from Lagos Nigeria.

And today I wish to Participate in this diary #34 contest by sharing my weekend event with you guys.

Though I was meant to share this diary earlier, but I had been choked with activities since that Saturday, but I promised myself I must make this post today, that's why I am here to Participate.

I Attended April Full Of Web 2&3 Event

Earlier this year I promised myself that I was going to be attending events, especially if it's business related event.

And on Friday night a friend of mine shared a flier of a web3 event with me and asked me if I can make it to the event the next morning.

On seeing the caption of the event, I was already interested.

Though I had other engagements, I had to postpone them for this, because this kind of opportunity doesn't come all the time.

I hurriedly prepared for the event on Saturday morning and got on my way by past 11am.

I arrived the event and fortunately for me, they haven't started, so I had to relax and take some selfie and as well feed my eyes.

Alright before I talk about the activities in the event, I will have to give a little definition of the event as named.

April full of web 2&3 is a concept to bring entertainment and other talents into web3 space.

It had been recorded that over the years most web3 events are usually boring due to just the usual talk about the çrypto industry and the likes.

But in this event, the organisers opened the eyes of everyone available on how we can bring in entertainment and other talents into the web3 space, it was so educative and impactful.

We had a panel session where pioneers of different projects were interviewed.

They shared their experiences, failures, motivations and achievements in the web3 space.

It was all an eye opener and entertaining at the same time.

At the end of the events, there were cash gifts to a couple of persons.

Among the beneficiaries of the cash gifts were these students.

Their school fees were taken care of from second year to their final year, as a token the encourage them to dive more into cryptos and also further their academics.

Apart from these students, other randome persons received cash prices and other gifts and services.

I confirmed on Saturday that there are lots of money to be made on the crypto space, regardless of your age and status.

Just be positioned with the right information, you are good to go.

I didn't forget to make new connections and new friends.

A lot of them are into different innovations in the web3 space.

I can't wait to start exploring all that.

After the event, I got on my way to a meet a friend who was having her wedding on Sunday 7th April.

I was supposed to help her run some errands, but I got there very late, due to the lined up of programs in the event.

I got to the hotel by past 7pm, I had to wait for them to arrive.

While waiting I had to look for food around and I saw a spot.

I saw this mini road side restaurant without name, I had to get their food.

I got back to the hotel, ate and waited for the bride to arrive.

When she came in everyone was already tired, we had to retire for the night to continue the plan in the morning, since wedding was to start in the afternoon.

Thanks guys for reading my diary to this point, this was how my Saturday went.

I couldn't just but share this event, it's worth sharing.

I also invite @woka-happiness, @echuku and @okere-blessing to come Participate in this contest.

It is good to be engaged in something productive and educative. If you can take it serious and be consistent, the sky will be your starting point.
