Hello ladies,

I hope I didn't join this community late? I think I would love it here. Making choices is what is left for every human, either good or bad; our choices matter.

About choosing from these topics, I go with PAIN. From my thought, there are various kinds of pains: emotional pain, physical pain, body pain, etc. But I will go for emotional pain, which I presume is the most harmful pain without physical bruises.

Emotional pain is an intense feeling of distress and suffering that is occupied in the mind. I don't think anything kills faster than emotional pain; it is an easy and fast killer. Let me share a story with us...

Eunice is a virtuous woman who possesses all the qualities of a good mother. She had a husband who loved her so dearly, worshiped the ground she worked on, and braces the air she breathes. The family they built was so sweet and spicy that it became the envy of some friends.

Her husband made all efforts to make her comfortable and a good wife. Eunice didn't know what was coming for her. She already had three lovely kids, and if I tell you the family was blessed, it's true.

Unfortunately, her friends envy her so much that they planned evil to destroy her. It was really a very terrible situation, and the emotional hurt from it was disastrous.

One morning, Eunice bid farewell to the husband and kids as they left for the day. She hurriedly dressed up and left the house. When they returned that evening, armed robbers visited their home.

These armed robbers were sent by her friends to kill the husband, but when they came, they decided to turn things around. Eunice's husband was forced to watch as the wife was being raped by 3 different men.

Eunice and her husband watched as their children were being shot. Eunice cried until the tears in her eyes were no longer dropping; she was just watching and couldn't say a word.

Tell me what is remaining for her. Eunice suffered emotional hurt for so long that she became afraid of her husband; she refused to get pregnant; she lost her senses; and she always wished she was killed rather than watched.

Emotional pain feels so hurt that when it hits the heart, it's like a sharp pain. I don't know how to give the clear description because I've not been there and don't know exactly what it feels like, but I know it's sharp.

Symptoms of emotional hurt

• Deep sorrow, sadness, or depression
• Grief
• Intense distress
• Loneliness and isolation
• Negative emotions
• Panic
• Rage
• Shame
• Worthlessness

Sometimes we wonder, "What causes emotional pain?" Does an event need to happen before one develops emotional pain? Well, I think a lot of things can cause this depending on each other's experiences and situations.

However, when these feelings are intense and persistent, they can intrude with your ability to function well and perform normal activities.

Sadness is a natural emotion that comes with loss and disappointment. However, if it doesn't fade with time, it might point to some conditions.

Shame and guilt often result in a feeling of "butterflies" or weight in the stomach. I would say this is common with the ladies, right? It is common among people with addictions; shame is worsened by the need for secrecy.

How to deal with emotional pain

• Regular exercise or physical activities like running and cycling can release feel-good hormones. It has a way of easing stress and relaxing the mind. Exercise also provides a constructive outlet for negative emotions.

• Mindful meditation can be a cornerstone in managing and understanding emotional pain. Engaging in meditation, for instance, can allow you to observe your painful emotions without becoming entwined with them.
