I'm sure my statement is not enough for a post, but I guess I can put it here: I am a 58 year old woman (oh my goodness - that hurts to write ;-)). I make sure I dress well and look appropriate for the occasion. And I never, ever, in any way wear jewellery. I find it distracts from the face, its expression, the body language and is nothing but superficial "hanging". Apart from that, it would get in the way and hinder me in all kinds of activities.
