'FREE SPEECH COMMUNITY' - Now on Steemit (Founded by @AngryMan)
All are invited to join this new Free Speech community, founded by @AngryMan, February 28, 2020 on @Steemit for anyone who values their right to say whatever they wish and in whatever way they choose.
So far, Steemit generally has been good about not 'officially' banning or blocking users or their posts simply for using language which they feel might be offensive to some, like centralized Social Media platforms have been doing. Yet, who knows what the future has in store for us in this respect?
'Free Speech Community' is at least a small step in the right direction, for all freedom loving people to help guard against the growing trend by malevolent individuals and groups seeking to eliminate freedom of expression...
What you post here on FSC - hopefully, will remain forever on the BlockChain - NEVER CENSORED by administrators, for any reason.
Feel free to post within the community alone if you see fit, or re-steem it from here to your Personal Blog page as well...
That's about it for now friends... I'll probably have more to sputter about in the near future.
Have a Happy Day - That's an Order :>)

Not seeing your community yet. You may need to make a post in it to get it to activate, or it may just take a little bit of time, I forget how I got mine to show up in the list and be usable. I'll keep an eye out for it going live though.
It shows up for me.
Thanks for some reason it was not showing up over on steempeak, I had to get to it via steemit, which I am trying to move away from.
Oh, I see.
Kind of back in the days of netscape and microsoft explorer, some would show pages slightly different, and you would get those responses I don't see what you are talking about it looks fine to me. I did not even think to check steemit.com, until you said it shows for you.
The important thing is I was able to join it, and now it shows on my steempeak page. I wonder if it has something to do with where the page was created, whether through steempeak or steemit, or any of the other front ends.
I imagine we will be seeing a few more differences over the years as things mature on the block chain.
!ENGAGE 25
Steem Peak is supposed to pull the data from Steem just like Steemit does. If Steemit shows something that Steem Peak is not, then it must be the fault of Steem Peak, well assuming that communities are rooted from Steem. Well, the posts do root from Steem. Communities are moderated tags, hashtags.
@joeyarnoldvn you have received
25 ENGAGE
from @bashadow!View and trade the tokens on Steem Engine.
Hi @bashadow nice to see you've found your way to the 'Join' button and clicking on it :>)
I somehow missed your posting about a community you founded on @steemit - I will check further and sign up...
In the future, there may be value for some communities to cooperate with one another in ways that are positive for the growth of Steemit and Steem Blockchain?
Looking forward to future developments,
Ciao
I only made mine so I could test out communities. I never really planned on doing much with it, but when they opened the beta test site up, I jumped in. Right now Steempeak is giving me fits:
and I have been forced back to steemit for now. Hopefully it resolves soon.
I'm beginning to suspect that a lot of these 'communities' were started for the same reason (as a test)
My plan is to give it a go and see what develops with the 'communities' project down the road. There are features seemingly lacking for Administrators right now, or some tools which are obscure and difficult to locate, if they do exist.
I've been stumbling across some users here who seem to be creating communities in abundance, just to be holding ownership I guess, speculating that they may prove profitable down the road...perhaps 'sell' ?
Good luck with your SteamPeak problem :>)
I think they got it fixed for me, and is likely why I could not see your community yesterday, still some intermittent issue but at least it is in a workable state.
When I made my community, I sent it some steem because I thought that communities were going to be able to vote, but now there is no way to get my few steem back, no wallet function that I have found yet on communities, but they are still new so things I am sure are going to change. Anyone thinking they can Sell or Buy a community may be in for a long ride or a ride to the cleaners, because you can change the community name pretty much at will I think, and there is no way to reserve/prevent someone from having the same name as your community because it is only in reality a hive-number, not a name.
If so...I'm not gonna be liking it...
I had to try, so my community is now named Just Because 2, that simple. I don't know if it will change for everyone following or not, but just like the name shown in the banner of any steem account easy to change
I'll check it out soon, to see if changes appear on my end. Hopefully, no one else can have duplicate official names on the 'Communities' listing...!!! That would be very confusing
I love it.
Hi @joeyarnoldvn … It's nice to have you as a guest/member here in FreeSpeech communities :>) Thanks for joining... Thank you, also for helping @bashadow within comments find the way to our list placement in order to join as well.
Feel free to post here, on any subject you like, in any way you choose - keeping it solely on the community page or shared within your personal blog.
I'm hoping that 'we' as a community prove helpful to advance growth of the @steem blockchain, bringing value to all like minded individuals.
Have a happy day.
excellent
Thank you all who have voted/commented on this FreeSpeechCommunity (@Hive-168088) introductory post and of course... Welcome to all the new members who joined (5) so far, after a mere thirteen hours in existence :>)
Your rule: DO NO EVIL
Isn't that the logo of Google - who are one of the worst regarding censorship?
A rather subjective rule for me to entrust my Freedon of Speech to...if you do not mind me saying so.
Even CAUSE NO HARM would not work, for if I criticise someone or a group or even the Cabal, I could be said to causing them harm.
How about: Speak according to your own good conscious? In other words, ask the poster to censor him/herself.
If someone is paranoid or whatever and makes a bad post, all it would do is brand that person in our eyes as a fanatic or mentally deficient and I do not think any harm would be caused.
You say, post in the community and resteem to my blog - the other way around cannot be done? Just curious...
Hello @arthur.grafo; thanks for your input.
Yes...It was Google's famous/infamous (?) moto that they stopped using sometime around going Public on the Exchange…
I listed it as a Joke… 'Dry Humor' perhaps, yet still funny in my opinion. I'm keeping it on the list for now in an effort to help convey that our community welcomes light hearted posts as well as those serious ones.
I tried the other way around and it did not work for me. Perhaps I didn't do it correctly (If possible to do) Sharing a post you might create within the 'Community' page is simple though...just 're-steem' it and it will appear on your personal blog.
Yet, there is also a method for 'Cross-Posting' (even other peoples posts) I did it at least once, but forgot how. I must have stumbled upon a 'button' somewhere. It works, but cross-posts all seem to appear without the main image.
I wish I could remember a link to help guide you in that regard; all these new features appearing at the same time seem to be causing a lot of confusion for users.
Ciao
Thanks. I'm glad I made my comment, as I learnt from you.
A, maybe, silly question: Why is it in your community, you are FOUNDER while I am only listed as ADMIN in mine? Did I miss out on doing something - if you know.
It's not a silly question @arthur.grafo13 . I designated myself 'Founder' while setting up the Community, then afterwards, I added 'Admin' from the drop down menu. Once I became administrator, the 'Founder' title remained.
Thanks for explaining.
Where are you, you fucker? ...I'm getting worried...
Oh...now I know where I stumbled across your worrisome, tender comment... I'm soooooooo confused....Steemit? Hive? Communities? Crossposts? Steempeak is not Steempeak any more...but, Peakd is…??? It's enough to make me want to pull the wig off some oldsters head!!!!
lol...I wonder what is happening to peaked/hive today - no image upload..
