Hello everyone

After a long day at school, my son’s face lights up with excitement as he rushes home, eagerly anticipating what awaits him at the front door. As soon as we open it, two familiar furry friends—Salmon and Snow—greet us enthusiastically, as if they had been waiting all day.

Snow, our Scottish Fold, has grown into a gentle and calm cat, quite different from the skittish kitten she used to be. Meanwhile, Salmon, our Persian/Thai mix with the softest fur imaginable, loves to cuddle and always seeks affection.

Although they come from different backgrounds and aren’t biologically related, the fact that we adopted them on the same day has created a unique bond between them. Being almost the same age, they share a special connection that feels like they were always meant to be together.

My son absolutely adores them. He worries if they wander too far while exploring outside (though they rarely venture beyond three houses). He always keeps an eye on the time, eager to bring them back to safety. It’s heartwarming to see how much he cares for his feline friends, and they’ve become inseparable parts of our daily life.

Recently, we treated them to a new toy—a plush donut bed. It’s not just a plaything; it transforms into a cozy spot for napping. Snow, in particular, fell in love with it. She curls up perfectly inside the donut's snug center, drifting off into the most peaceful slumber.

Unfortunately, the rainy season hit, keeping us indoors more than usual. Our outdoor adventures in the garden have been replaced with cozy moments inside, as we try to make the most of the rainy days. Despite the weather, spending time with our cats brings warmth and joy to our home.

Even though the rain has altered our routines, the bond we share with Salmon and Snow keeps us entertained and grateful. Watching them interact with each other and with my son is a constant reminder of the joy they bring to our lives.
