I hope this day finds you happy and well — in case you didn't know, today is Caturday, my favorite day of the week! Let's all share some photos of our favorite Feline friends!

Summertime!

Summer has definitely arrived in earnest! From a cat's perspective, this is very good news because it is nice and warm and sunny every day now, and there are lots of lovely sunny spots for napping, all around the house!

I have been trying to mostly keep to myself as much as possible, because the Hoomans seem extremely busy these days, always moving around and "collecting" things. What's going on?

The Camping Trip

Well, the reason for all their busy-ness is that they are attending a Festival in a different state next week, and that means they are actually going to be camping at the festival venue.

So, they are very busy gathering everything together for their trip... because they are also going to be setting up a spot to sell their creative projects, while they are there.

I guess the house will be very quiet when they are gone... the Hoomans will be away for five days.

OK, so we're not going to be "home alone" to fend for ourselves. Our friend Chris is going to be staying with us for a couple of days, and the Son-Hooman will come over from Seattle to stay at the house till their return on Monday.

That said, it is the longest they have been away since I was rescued and this became my home, eight years ago!

Of course, we will try to be on our best behavior!
