What are the main sources of air pollution in our environment?

Air pollution occurs in our environment from various sources. Following are some of the significant sources:

  • Black smoke from various vehicles causes air pollution in our environment.
  • Air pollution in our environment due to smoke from industrial factories and various chemicals.
  • Toxic fumes from burning plastic products pollute the air in our environment.
  • Due to the washing of brick kilns, carbon dioxide and other gases are released into the environment causing air pollution.
  • Dust and sand particles during the construction of various infrastructures increase the air pollution of the environment.

How does air pollution affect human health, especially vulnerable groups like children and the elderly?

Yes, air pollution affects human health, especially children and the elderly.
Effects of air pollution on children: Polluted air reduces the growth and function of children's lungs, toxic dust and sand can cause breathing difficulties, allergy problems can increase, air pollution can reduce the immune system of children due to toxic substances, pregnant mothers air Congenital problems in children due to pollution etc.

Effects of air pollution on the elderly: Air pollution can cause breathing problems in the elderly, allergy problems, asthma problems, bronchitis problems, increased blood pressure, heart disease, infection problems etc.

What are some common symptoms or health issues caused by exposure to polluted air?

Exposure to polluted air can cause us various physical problems, below are some of the problems:

  • Breathing problems
  • Skin problems
  • Whooping cough
  • Burning and red eyes
  • Chronic problems like asthma and bronchitis
  • May increase blood pressure
  • Impairment of fertility and Problems during pregnancy.
  • More dangerous for children etc.
How can individuals contribute to reducing air pollution in their daily lives?

  • Industrial factories use technology to avoid waste and toxic fumes.
  • We need to be especially careful about vehicles and avoid vehicles that are active in air pollution.
  • Unplanned brick kilns should be closed, and brick kilns should be managed through technology.
  • We must ensure your reuse and recycling of the raw materials used.
  • More plants to be planted and cared for.
  • There will be more caution in using fuel.
  • Gas, electricity, and biogas should be used instead of coal, etc.
  • Care should be taken not to burn excess dust and sand particles.
How does air pollution vary between urban and rural akilns.

The reasons why ambient air pollution varies in urban and rural areas are somewhat different.
Urban Areas: Air pollution is high in urban areas due to the presence of industrial factories. Again, more people live in cities, more vehicles are used, and air pollution is caused by exhaust fumes from vehicles. Also, more structures are built in cities, resulting in air pollution through dust and sand particles. Moreover, the green nature of the city is less, resulting in air pollution.

Rural Areas: Air pollution in rural areas is much less than in cities. In rural areas, air pollution is caused by smoke emitted from burning various fuels, burning of various plastic products also causes air pollution. Various chemicals and pesticides are used in agriculture, which emits methane and ammonia gas, causing air pollution. In rural areas where brick kilns are most prevalent, air pollution is caused by smoke emitted by brick kilns.

I invited them to participate in the beautiful learning contest @jyoti-thelight, @ninapenda, suboohi.
