Today I am happy to join the contest “Bloating” which was created by the distinguished @suboohi in the Healthy Steem platform. As much as I do this to illustrate the causes of bloating writing this discussion, I will also provide my own experiences and possible methods of preventing and dealing with the problem. So let’s start the awareness and the healthy living journey all together.

Bloating is also one of the most poorly understood symptoms that can occur in people of all age groups. It can make an otherwise usual day into a pretty uncomfortable one and not only to the physical health state but also to the psychological one. Swelling is well understood as fullness or tightness in the stomach, which may also be seen in cases of bloating. It makes the stomach feeling hard or uncomfortable and is normal experienced as a result of buildup of gas in the digestive tract. Swelling may be caused by eating excessive servings of food, eating a large portion of food at a go, taking foods that one is allergic to or suffering from digestive issues. It is a chronic condition that may develop at any time and may prove difficult to get comfortable, particularly after eating. This is a widespread problem and is closely linked with the main ways of how it can be solved.

🔹Overeating: Taking a stomach past its limit results in bloating and can be caused by large meals.

🔹Eating too quickly: Eating at a high speed creates a swallowing of air that eventually forms gas in the tummy.

🔹Food intolerances: Some things can cause bloating like dairy or gluten among persons with special sensitivities.

🔹High intake of carbonated drinks: Some gases that are usually swallowed do find their way into the stomach via carbonated drinks.

🔹Constipation: It is a reason for feeling bloating.

🔹Digestive disorders: There are some health issues this may include; Irritable bowel syndrome and small intestinal bacterial overgrowth may causes of bloating.

🔹Hormonal imbalance: It is mainly seen in women's during mensuration they may experience bloating.

Once the particular cause is distinguished it becomes considerably easier to prevent and therefore maintain a healthy digestive system.

In most of the cases whenever I feel bloated I just try to follow some easy home remedies that are available and which really comforts me within minutes. These include:

🔹Ginger Tea: Ginger is one confirmed natural anti-inflammatories that is capable of softening the lining of the stomach and reduce bloating.

🔹Fennel Seeds: Consumption of fennel seeds chewed after a meal reduces bloating and helps you deal with the gas.

🔹Warm Water with Lemon: Drinking a glass of warm water with a hint of lemon first thing in the morning does more than just helpful in matters concerning bloating but also keeps digestion under check.

🔹Peppermint Tea: I have tried to take peppermint tea when they happened and I realized that it really helps in the process since I feel less bloated afterwards. It aids in the relief of tension of muscles lining the gut.

🔹Walking: Waking after meals enhances digestion and the feeling of fullness to minimize it, walking will be of great benefit. I always try to walk 10 to 15 minutes after eating meals.

🔹Avoiding Trigger Foods: When I feel bloated I avoid substances such as beans, carbonated drinks, and foods that are fried.

These are some of the natural remedies, which are so simple that they have become part of my lifestyle and greatly reduced the problem of bloating.
