Greetings friends, it is important that we prioritise our health because living healthy will enable us to balance our work life and other activities.

PRIOTIZING MY HEALTH

When it was done on me that staying healthy is not only applicable to practising health tips like eating good foods and regular medical checkups to improve my physical well-being but also my mental well-being, I decided to make some adjustments to favour my mental well-being and that has been refraining from staying indoors, If I am on holidays I love staying indoors and this has affected my interactions because I may feel emotional down when I see my friends get to places that have enhanced their level of exposition and I am not. Interacting with people builds us emotionally, socially and if possible academically, so staying indoors may not be a good way of helping my brain function effectively, to this effect I adjusted.

LEVEL OF CONCERN FOR MY HEALTH

The percentage prioritization of my physical and mental health is above average, I would give it 75%, physically I ensure that I don't take food without rinsing a plate even though it has been washed, that has become a habit for me, a lot of people don't consider that an insect with a contagious diseases might have come in contact with the plate especially cockroach which find it way to our houses no matter what. I give myself enough rest each day because sleeping in the afternoon gives the brain so much ability to think better for the rest of the day.

I don't skip chores especially fetching water because by doing this I am exercising my muscles. I may not have enough schedule, especially for exercise, but by not skipping these activities I contribute to my physical well-being.

MANAGING STRESS

Every day of my life is always stressful but I try to set a timetable for myself so that while I am too busy with other activities I don't fail or forget to give myself a rest. Every day is not a work day so my weekend is always an opportunity to give myself all the rest I could even though a greater part of the day will still be used for work.

NUTRITION AND WELL-BEING

Since we are talking of physical health as one of the hints here, I place so much concern on my nutrition because it is a factor that can hinder growth both physically and mentally, food is needed for mental functionality as a hungry man is an angry man( anger has something to do with our mental wellbeing, so get yourself fed so you won't be easily flared up by little things). Oftentimes workload makes me forget that I have not eaten since morning but when discovered I get myself some food.
