A warm Greetings to all my beautiful steemians and friends out there, i cherished You all and I hope that you all are having a wonderful time on this beautiful steemit platform. I'm happy to have each and everyone of you right here with me, it's my pleasure to be here again today I will be participating in a contest titled "MY REMEDY TO GET RID OF FLU". I so much love the fact that I'm always learning something new each day on this platform and I will be sharing my thoughts with you all concerning the remedy that I normally use during flu. All thanks to @khursheedanwar for bringing up this contest. Let's start from here without wasting time.

Flu which is also known as influenza, is a highly contagious respiratory illness caused by the influenza virus. It usually affects the nose, lungs and throat which can easily range from mild to severe and even life threatening in some cases, the flu is caused by the influenza virus which has three main types which is A, B, and C. Type A and B viruses are responsible for seasonal outbreaks which can leads to worsening of chronic health conditions like heart disease, diabetes and lungs diseases.

Some common flu symptoms includes!!

• Soar Throat
• Headache
• Fatigue
• Diarrhea
• Fever
• Cough
• Runny Nose.

What remedy you use during flu?(Explain step by step along benefits of ingredients used)

Here are some of my own steps by steps explanation of my own remedy for flu this includes....

Ginger And Lemon Tea
It's ingredients includes.

• One table spoon of raw honey.
• 1-inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled and grated.
• 1/2 lemon, juiced
• Then Add one cup of warm water.

INSTRUCTIONS

• In a small saucepan, heat the water over low heat.

• Then add the grated ginger and let it simmer for like 5-8 minutes, or until the water has reduced slightly.

• Strained the ginger from the water and add the honey, then stir it until it dissolved.

• Remove it from the heat and add the lemon juice.

• Pour it into a cup and drink it warm up to like three times a Day.

BENEFIT OF INGREDIENTS INCLUDES.

• Honey: It soothes a sore throat, and also has antimicrobial properties and helps reduce coughing.

• Ginger: For aids digestion, it also reduces nausea and inflammation and has natural antiviral properties.

• Lemon: Boasts immunisation with high Vitamin C content, which helps to loose mucus, and has antibacterial properties.

ADDITIONAL TIPS

Here are some of the additional tips that will makes you feel better when you have a flu, this includes.

• Staying Hydrated: Is crucial when you have a flu, aim for atleast 8-10 plenty of fluids, such as water, clear broths and electrolyte rich beverages like coconut water or sports drinks which will makes you feel better and maintain an healthy life.

• Practice Good Hygiene: Is crucial to prevent the spread of the flu viruses and other illnesses, frequently wash your hands with soap and water for atleast 20 second's expecially after using the bathroom before and after blowing your nose or coughing, and avoid close contact with others.

• Rest: It is also essential when you have flu, if you're feeling tired don't push yourself instead take a break and rest for some times. Aim for atleast 7-8 hour's of sleep per night to help your body recover.

• Steam Inhalation: is also a way to ease congestion, boil some water in a pot or kettle and add a few drops of eucalyptus oil to the water for added benefits, inhale slowly through your mouth so as to help loosen mucus and ease congestion.

• Gargle With Salt Water: Use a warm water and apply a little salt as it will helps to loosen mucus and reduce throat congestion, you can also add a pinch of baking soda to the solution for extra soothing powder, which can helps loosen and clear mucus from the throat.

• Stay active: is a great way to help your body recover from the flu, engage in some gentle excercise like stretching or yoga, as you will feel better and boost your mood and immune system.

• Seek Medical Attention: is crucial if you are experiencing flu symptoms, incase your symptoms persist or worsen or you're experiencing difficulty breathing or severe headache, endeavour to seek medical attention.

Hi, thanks for the invitation.

The flus are terrible, some are hit harder than others, as well as the medicines are these natural or laboratories, some make effect to others not.

It is something incredible but it is like that.

And when you take the medicine you must be constant until it disappears completely.
