CONTEST!! || Heat rash ||

Peace be upon you all my beloved community fellows. I am good by the grace of Allah Ta'ala who is the owner of final day. I want you too. In this contest I will discuss about the present problem which name is heat rash. Now a days this problem is common, people who have sensitive skin mostly are effecting by this. I love to say thanks to @khursheedanwar for creating this contest and providing me a chance to share my knowledge about heat rashes.

What are heat rash and their causes?

This is the kind of skin disorder. Heat rashes, miliaria or prickly heat, are skin disorders which occurs when perspiration becomes lodged in the sweat ducts and is unable to disperse. This obstruction causes a rash and irritation. Although they can affect us in of all ages. Heat rashes are very common in new born baby and young child because they has immature sweat ducts. Heat rashes usually occur in very hot, humid weather when sun shines brightly. Main types of rashes are:

• Miliaria Crystallina
• Miliaria Rubra
• Miliaria Profunda

Causes of heat rashes

1. Hot and Humid Weather:
   In high temperature and humidity increase sweat, which can lead to hear rashes.
2. Intense Physical Activity:
   Activities that cause excessive sweat can contribute to the making of heat rashes.
3. Tight Clothing:
   This is also the reason of heat rashes. Wearing tight clothing can trap sweat against the skin, blocking sweat ducts.
4. Overheating:
   This can happen due to overdressing, especially in new born baby and young children who have underdeveloped sweat ducts.
5. Prolonged Bed Rest:
   Lying in bed for long periods, in warm environment, can cause heat rashes.
6. Heavy Creams:
   Using thick skin products can block sweat ducts, increasing the risk of heat rashes.
7. Immature Sweat Ducts:
   New born babies are particularly sensitive because their sweat ducts are not fully developed and can easily become blocked.

What kind of treatment you can give to a person suffering with heat rash?

I give some following suggestion to a person suffering with heat rashes for treatment:
Cool the Skin
He should relocate to a colder location, employ air conditioning or fans and stay away from extreme heat and humidity.
Keep the Skin Dry
Use a fresh towel to dry his skin after sweating and steer clear of activities that make him perspire a lot.
Wear Loose Cloth
For reducing sweat, use airy, loose fitting cloth composed of natural fibers like cotton.
Take Cool Showers
Taking cool shower can save to heat rashes. To relieve skin irritation and lessen itching, take a cool shower.

Avoid Heavy Skin Products
Heavy creams that can further clog sweat ducts. He should use light, water based cosmetics.
Apply Hydrocortisone Cream
Hydrocortisone cream, it helps lessen irritation and inflammation.
Maintain Hydration
To help maintain a healthy body temperature, drink lots of water. These treatments will definitely help heat rash go away in a few days.
It is necessary to get medical help if the rash does not go away. It is infected, or is accompanied by a fever or other serious symptoms.

Can heat rash severity make you bed ridden?

Yes, some time heat rashes severity make us bed ridden. Most of the time, heat rash is not severe enough to keep a us bed ridden. For prevent more sweating and rash aggravation, it may limit activities and encourage rest in certain cases of severe discomfort, itching and irritation. The symptoms can be more severe and potentially incapacitating in more severe types, like "miliaria profunda", where sweating seeps into deeper layers of the skin, but this is uncommon. If a heat rash develops a secondary bacterial infection, it can result in more severe symptoms that call for medical attention, including rest and particular therapies.

We should consult a doctor if we have feeling pain, a rash that covers a large area, or infection symptoms like pus, swelling, redness, increased redness.
