OUR DISCUSSION THIS WEEK |
---|
Our family health history is like a treasure map of our health as it tend to tell us about the illnesses and conditions that have affected our relatives over the years. Therefore by understanding this history, we can spot patterns and risks that might affect us too. Hence, it is important because it helps us make better choices for our health and can even guide doctors in giving us the best care. So, knowing about our family’s health can be a key to living a healthier life.
Here are some discussion questions to get the conversation going:
What health issues have you noticed in your family members?
How do you think knowing your family's health history can help you?
Have you ever discussed health concerns with your family? What was that like?
Do you think it's important to keep track of family health history? Why or why not?
How can we encourage younger family members to learn about their health history?
These questions can help everyone share their thoughts and experiences related to family health history.
