"CHRISTMAS GIVING: What Do You Want to Receive or Give This Christmas Season?" || Giving And Sharing by @joshuelmari || 20% payout of this post goes to @steemitphcurator
Good day, #SteemitPhilippines and #Steemians! The Steemit Philippines community initiated a competition to highlight what we want to receive or give for Christmas this year.
Christmas is to honor Jesus' birth by caring for, sharing, and giving to those who do not have a home. It's family time. It's something to be grateful for. Christmas is a pleasant celebration. Giving allows us to be remembered, as well as show that we remember those who are dear to us. Giving without expecting anything in return is a wonderful thing to do. It aims to make Christmas more enjoyable for those who are less fortunate. It's a chance to spend time with family while also giving back to the community. It's seeing the season through the eyes of children and witnessing the actual thrill and enchantment of the season. It's time to pause and consider what matters most in life. It entails giving and receiving love, as well as assisting others. It's all about compassion and thankfulness. It's time to spread joy to others.
Like the infant Jesus, who was born in a manger and went on to become our Savior. Sharing your blessings, no matter how insignificant, fills their hearts with joy. That is what the Christmas spirit is all about.
In our area, drizzles, cloudy skies, and cold winds greet us, but in the aftermath of storm Odette, my only prayer for those who are affected is that the Lord guide and give them the strength and guidance they need to claw back. Although we are not affected by the typhoon, I trust that no matter what storms come our way in this world, the Lord would not abandon us.
The storm, on the other hand, will not deter us from celebrating the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Christmas is just five days away.
My Christmas wish to God is for the entire family and all of us to have a healthy, strong physique. I also hope that the storm's victims will be able to recuperate quickly.
I began planning in small increments to give to our electrician and plumber at the same time, who, whenever I needed him, always made time to fix our faucet or light, despite his hectic schedule. I ordered a pack of chocolate tablets from my cousin as a gift for our electrician/plumber to share with his family as a nutritious beverage.
I also has a gift for the ones who keep our surroundings weed-free and clean. Because our caretaker has grandchildren, I requested my cousin to bake a box of macaroons for him as a Christmas gift. Of course, I've got a beautiful "Suksom" plant for him as well.
A small present for our water delivery guy, who reminds me of my son's mineral water. I asked my brother if he could give me one of his unused baseball caps. I told him I wanted to give it as a present to our water delivery guy. The guy likes to wear a baseball cap, which I noticed. He has never been seen without a cap on his head.
I make a beanie hat for my daughter's good neighbor buddy since I enjoy crocheting, and she can wear it to work every day. She is a kind person who constantly gives a helping hand whenever I need to buy essentials and maintenance medications for my son, and who has also become my runner in times of need.
I only get to give these wonderful people gifts once a year, and it's also my way of saying thank you for everything they've done for my family. They're my "ANGELS" in disguise, and I consider them as family.
In this season, I will also donate to the victims of Typhoon Odette in VisMin via MBC-DZRH Operation Tulong #TabangVisMin. Here is the Link for those who want to donate: MBC-DZRH Operation Tulong #Tabang VISMIN
The message is straightforward and simple. The Christmas season entails spending extra time with family, expressing gratitude and love, sharing and making others happy, and remembering the birth of the Savior, Jesus Christ.
May the Christmas miracle fill our hearts with warmth and love as we celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, my dearest SteemitPhilippines Community, and Steemit Family.

Merry Christmas Te,
@juichi, a Christmas hug to you! Thank you very much for your feedback.
I think when you are a giver you are and will always be a giver that is your innate nature na ate. Kasi we cannot stand alone we need other people to survive. I am so happy sa mga goodies and creations na ginawa mo for others. I truly believe that when you give you will receive that's the law of nature and the law of God.
I pray for more blessings to you and your family po.
No ilaw no internet daming natumbang mga towers and poste ng kuryente binayo tlaga sila dun. HIndi ko pa sila nakakausap since bumagyo dahil nga no signal.
Yong brother ko lang nagpadala ng video ng aftermath ng bagyo.
Praying nga makabangon na sila and maibalik na ang kuryente pero sabi abutin pa sila ng isang buwan. Magcandle light nalang sila this Christmas.
It's nice to hear that they are safe, Ang roof madali naman nila maayos yan at may mga tauhan naman father mo.
