VINSET Training 2.0 Day 1 by @kyrie1234
Maayong adlaw steemians. Isang malugod na pagbati from Visayas Region.
In-Service Training or known as InSet has been a yearly activity for us teachers. It usually happen before the new school year opens and every sembreak.
And for the second time, we made InSet a history again since we do it virtually where our speakers are coming from the regional office. That is why we call it VinSet short for Virtual Inset.
The Struggle is REAL!
Days before the VinSet, we were tasked to register and get enrolled so that we can claim the certificate they will be providing. But just last year, we had hard time registering ourself because the system cannot accomodate almost millions of teachers all over the Philippines.
Learned from last year, my strategy was to wake up at dawn since some of the teachers were already asleep. Meaning, only fee teachers were awake and thats the time I can access tge system. And I woke up at 2:11 in the morning and just do it in just 10minutes.
And if I will be doing it in the morning where almost all teachers were active, I am sure I will always have a "Bad Gateway". Meaning I can't get in the system.
VINSET 2.0 Day 1
Just yesterday, we had our Day 1 from 8:30-4:00. It was a long day because we talked about 5 topics.
At first 2 sessions, everything is smooth until this little lady of mine asking my time and wanted to cuddle. So, I just let her sit on my lap while listening to the speaket until she fall asleep. That's a perk of having a work from home. But I still love it, at least I was still able to give time for my princess.
Another Struggle for Claiming the Certificate for Day 1
Another "bad gateway" story in claiming our certificate. By the way, we need to claim a certificate every speaker, so I need to get 5 certificate. And since I can't access in the morning, I need to wake up again at dawn.
But before we can claim our certificate, we need to answer 5-10 questions every topic. And we should get a perfect score because if not we need to do it again. So, "listening and taking down notes" is a must in this training.
Time check: 4:20am but I still had my 3 certificates, 2 more to go. I already do it for 1 hour already.
That's how struggle we are every VinSet. And we are hoping that this will be the last VinSet we will be attending to. Hoping that this pandemic will come to its end SOON.
That would be all for now.
Inviting @heartmich, @marzyoung22 and @mercy11 to share their story of the day.
