Steemit Philippines Charity Funding Proposal From The Visayas Region: For The Incoming Charity Event

A day when we begin our journey on our plan for the charity event that we are planning for this month. With the help of #SteemitPhilippines and my team member and the rest of the members of the Visayas region, we aim to have a successful event in the future. Our mission is to conduct a feeding event in the area and also to help some of the families who are living near the creek in Mandaue City. Without the presence of the #SteemitPhilippines team and the whole member of community, we can not assure that we can fulfill our plan. We need your generous heart to help this family who is in need especially Christmas Season is near to us.

The story behind this event

Last week our moderators give a steem t-shirt to my team. She asks me 'What if you conduct a feeding event in your chosen area?'. Then I simply answer "YES" I will discuss it with my team member but we have some problems. Many of my team are newbies. They don't have enough SBD in their wallet. He told me that we help each other to fulfill our feeding program. Then we have planned the area which we considered the best area that needs the help of our fellow steemians.

As we visited the place yesterday together with @angelycong and @gracetorrion we observe the remote place needs help from us. We have a hardship in going to the place because it was raining. We need to pass in the creek to reach our destination.

This is the area a "REMOTE FLOODED AREA OF ZONE AHOS BARANGAY PAKNAAN MANDAUE CITY"

As we interviewed some of the constituents of this area, they told us that the area is flooded even a small rain comes . Besides they are living near the creek where a big flow of water from other place pass by. When there is a flood the water level is almost on their floor. But the flow of the water contains a muddy flood. They can't sleep well because they will observe the level of water.
They will not transfer to another place because they don't have work. If they are renting another house where they can get the monthly payments and the needs of the family because they don't have a stable job.

Most of the houses of the constituents are made up of small used wood from the garbage and a tarpaulin as their ceiling or used roofing from another house.
If you look at the place, almost throughout the week their place is still muddy.

As you look the area is not clean and it is not good for the children especially those children who always stay in the river to get sand to have money to buy food.
We are budget for the future feeding comprises almost 100 children and individual.
This is the estimated food that we will prepare during the event.

The estimated budget for the food is $22.5 Sbd for about 100 people. We decided to give School Supplies for the Student if we have an extra budget for the event.
Now we look forward to our incoming feeding event. We hope that everybody will participate in the success and we can help others through our community.
