The Diary Game Season 3 (November 29, 2021)| My Birthday - A Simple Celebration With my Family

Birthdays are always special. Yesterday, November 29 was my birthday. I planned to write this blog last night so that it will fall really on my natal day. But failed to do so. Nonetheless, I am writing it now to share to you how I my day went.

In the morning...

Of course I was greeted by my husband and children. My dad called early in the morning greeting me a happy birthday too. We had a little chit chat. He was letting me know how he was doing and his plans of coming here in Cebu. I am really excited to see him again after 2 years of not seeing him personally. Hope their plan to visit will push through before we leave for Laguna.

Also in the morning, my husband accompanied our children to have their photos and biometrics taken for the National ID. It was just to timely, the Philippine National ID team was in our subdivision and it was the last day yesterday.

Our children's modules need to be returned and retrieve as well. My husband went to their school to accomplish this task. After his return, we rested a bit, talked about our plan on where to dine out. We agreed to go to Co Jordan Talaba and Bangus Eatery in Consolacion, Cebu. The place was just a few minutes drive from our place. What we like about this restaurant is that it is not crowded, and free flowing air (not airconditioned) I don't know is that is the right term LOL (free flowing air).

And so we got ready and headed to the said place.

There was a bit of heavy traffic on our way, but it was manageable though.

Finally we arrived at the restaurant. It is not a fancy one but they serve delicious food. It is situated over a fish pond.

While we were ordering our food, I took of photo of these shells.

We did not order a dish with this one but we had Talaba or oysters instead. They are famous with Talaba.

While waiting for our food. We took photos. We've been here several times already. Twice we did fishing with the children. We let them experience how to catch a fish with the fishing rod. They enjoyed it.

In this restaurant, you can also catch your own fish and let them cook it for you. But it is quite pricey. The price per kilo becomes doubled. Not unless you have a lot of budget for it. So better take the other option to just bring it home. Pay for the caught fish per kilo.

Our food has arrived...

After a few minutes of waiting, our order is here. We ordered Talaba, Fried Tilapia, Pancit Bihon, Chopsuey, of course Rice and softdrinks.

Time to dig in! LOL Sarap ng food! The food was delicious as always. We were all full. Thank you for the blessings.

I am grateful to our Creator for giving me another year to enjoy with my family and friends. Thankful for the privilege to be alive and breathe fresh air and be loved.

I am overwhelmed with the birthday wishes from my family and friends. My social media accounts were flooded with these messages specially on Facebook. I am grateful to all who have taken the time to drop me a line or two. Wishing all the best for me. Words can't express how grateful I am. There was no cake for the day, but it was filled with love from family and friends. THANK YOU!

This is all from me now. I am hoping you are all safe as well and healthy. Being alive nowadays is a gift and a blessing.
