(Cotabato Volunteers Selling their tempting siomai products)

Hello Steemit Family and friends.

This is @uwanderer once again sharing with another inspiring stories about volunteers and their creative initiatives to produce funds to fulfill their volunteer activities in various communities in Mindanao.

Today we will be featuring with you, two volunteer groups from the province of cotabato and bukidnon.

From the province of cotabato the product they are selling is more on siomai. Its a afforable meal that is sought of by many common people as a snack. It is one of the street food that has a strong buying component particularly to teenagers and employees who are seeking fast and budget friendly meal. The volunteers who are selling this product aims to sell around 100 small plates. And the funds generated from it will good for the outreach funds which is around 80% and the remaining 20% will go for the purchasing of ingredients and materials needed for selling.

Now folks let's proceed with the product sold by the bukidnon volunteers. As the weather in bukidnon is warm and sunny brought by dry or summer season. The bukidnon volunteers decided to make a Buko (shred coconut meat) salad with cheese and raisins.

The volunteer group is targeting to sell around 50 tabs of Buko salad. And they are planning to divide the income in the following breakdown; 80% for the outreach funds and 20% will go back for the procurement of the needed ingredients and materials.

Please be inform that the capital used from this micro selling comes from the pocket of the volunteers.

You might be thinking who will be the prospect for the products. Volunteers top buyers are their family members, friends, and colleagues at work who understands their passion and advocacy in life. Their family, friends, and colleagues are also previous volunteers in the group. And they are happy to help in any way possible.

Below are the photo of their mouth watering Buko salad.

Both group hit their target quotas and they are very happy as they could continue selling different products to ensure a continuous flow of funds that will surely aid more children in the future activities the volunteers have in mind.

And that's all for now. I hope it gives you the glimpse of the life of the volunteers who strive hard to produce possible funds to assist not only children but also their family in this time of pandemic.
