Explanation

---

I am going to share a paper craft with you today. In this craft, I have tried to make a peacock. Let’s take a look at how I created it.

Step 01

First, I took a pink-colored paper and divided it evenly. Then, using scissors, I cut it into sections. On one section, I drew half of the peacock’s body, including the beak, head, and the front part of the body. Using scissors, I carefully cut along the lines. Now you can see that the front part of the peacock is cut out.

Step 02

Next, I took the remaining half of the paper and divided it into equal parts. I used scissors to cut these parts, then folded them accordion-style. I repeated the same process to create another similar design.

Step 03

I took one of the folded sections and applied glue to one side. Then, I attached it to another folded piece of paper. Afterward, I applied glue to the other side and attached it to the adjacent section. I repeated the process for the remaining open part, applying glue to one edge and adjusting it. You can see how beautifully the shape has turned out. This is the peacock’s feather section.

Step 04

Now, I applied glue to the back of the peacock’s body and attached the feather section to it.

Step 05

Using a gel pen, I carefully outlined the body, added details, and drew the eyes in black. For the peacock’s feathers, I used a black marker to create beautiful patterns and shapes.

Step 06

I then colored the middle parts of the feathers with green acrylic paint and added decorative designs. You can see how beautiful it looks. The peacock paper craft is now complete.

✅ How did you get the idea of ​​making paper craft?

When I saw this contest in the community, I started searching for something new to create with paper. And the best sources for finding new ideas are, of course, social media or YouTube. While searching, I came across this idea on YouTube. That’s when I planned to make this beautiful peacock.

✅ Briefly tell us how you felt while making the paper craft.

Creating such a peacock with paper was my first experience. I had never made a peacock like this using colored materials before. So, from the moment I started making it to the moment I finished, I was very excited. Making this craft with paper was a very enjoyable experience for me.
