Paper Crafting of a Butterfly

Explanation

---

Today, I am excited to share a beautiful paper butterfly craft with you all. Let’s take a look at how I created this butterfly using paper.

Step 01

To create the paper craft, I first gathered all the necessary materials. Using a ruler and pencil, I measured the paper according to my requirements and then cut it neatly with a pair of scissors.

Step 02

Next, I took an empty tissue roll and applied glue all around it. I then carefully wrapped the pre-cut paper around the roll. From the picture, you can see how beautifully the paper has been set on the roll.

Step 03

I then took a piece of pink paper and folded it neatly in the middle. After folding, I used a pencil to draw the shape of a butterfly on the paper.

Step 04

Using scissors, I cut the paper according to the butterfly shape I had drawn. Once cut, the shape started to look like a beautiful butterfly with its wings spread wide.

Step 05

Next, I applied glue along the center of the butterfly’s body. I carefully placed the paper roll onto the glued area.

Step 06

Now, I created several small circles using different colored papers. I applied small amounts of glue randomly on the butterfly’s wings.

I placed the small paper circles onto the glued areas of the wings, giving them a colorful and lively look.

Step 08

For the butterfly’s face, I drew two beautiful eyes on paper and glued them to the top of the roll. Using black color, I drew a mouth and added two small black circular marks on the tips of its antennae.

✅ How did you get the idea of ​​making paper craft?

When I was watching different art and craft videos on YouTube I found one that explained how to make a butterfly using colorful paper. Then I was just going to try it for myself. The video explained it everything so clearly and easily. As a child I used to love making crafts so I thought it would be a fun to do it again. I got some paper and scissors and get working. I was just happy to make something with my own hands.

✅ Briefly tell us how you felt while making the paper craft.

I was very happy and excited while making the paper craft. The first piece of paper when I cut it, reminded me of my childhood. I worked step by step as the colorful butterfly wings appeared and in the process I felt like was creating something beautiful. I didn’t notice how quickly time had passed because I was so focused on it. After the butterfly was complete, it didn’t feel like crafting, it felt like I did something on my own.
