My prayer is that all is well with everyone in the love of Allah and good health. Alhamdulillah, I’m also alright. Today has been a happy and full of lovely moments day, and I wanted to write about it and share my ideas with everyone.

The day started with the birds singing from outside my window, which was encouraging suggesting that the day was going to be beautiful. I woke up early, without any issues, and turned off the alarm that was beside me. After freshening up, I went to the kitchen to prepare for a quick breakfast early in the morning. Light breakfast and coffee-like smell woke me up and then I started my motherly duties as my little one was awake. I washed him up and offered him his food. My son always bothers me about feeding and does not want to eat, I have to spend a lot of time to feed him. I think all of us moms get so much pain with baby food because kids don't want to eat.

As the morning advanced, I returned to the kitchen to prepare lunch. There was the shrill sound of sizzling pans and boiling pots as a plate before the silence was broken by the doorbell ringing. As soon as I opened the door, there stood an employee from my husband’s workplace with a box of sweets. He kindly told me that several subordinate officials had been promoted today and were sending confections to the residences of every instructor. The unexpected occurrence was delightful and provided a pleasant beginning to the day.

After all the cooking washing, cleaning, and other housework were completed I bathed and observed my prayers. Lunch was almost enjoyable and after that, I decided to take some rest as my baby slept quietly.

The sun was setting in the afternoon and the curtains were drawn; there was a warm and soft light in the room good for a quick power nap.

Sometimes when my baby woke up from sleep, this was the right time to go out and visit the playground. We went out, and as soon as we got there my baby went straight out to join the other children to play. Just the simple things, such as him laughing with his friends, give my heart so much happiness. I also relished the time, watching him have fun and a chance to have a word with other mothers.

We had to go home as early as the sun set because the evening had a special program lined up for us. Today was my husband’s boss’ 14th marriage anniversary so we went to visit our Commandant Bhabi’s place. Since Commandant Bhai was out of the country only the ladies were going to give her the surprise. The attraction of the plan put an element of pleasantness to the evening.

We then dressed up and proceeded to Commandant Bhabhi’s house where we were planned to be taken. I could tell that she was not expecting it as the minute she opened the door, her face immediately brightened up. We had taken some gifts and a cake for her, her face when she saw them was so happy. Finally, Mark and I spent the evening discussing with one another, laughing, and even taking pictures to show each other that we were actually doing that indeed. As for ourselves, our children also had a great time the time was spent on playing and eating tasty treats.

Thus, all together we ate a cake, told different jokes and formed splendid memories. Being with friends and the warm atmosphere captured the evening with appreciable excitement. And this joyous state continued to the last hour of the night when we went home.

The day was great and full of nice moments – both love and comedy and all the other little things that make people happy. In a clear state of relishing each moment of the day, am happy to pen down this diary entry with the blessings of such a beautiful day and such great people in my life.

May all days be like the current day – delightful and blessed.
